Two victims of today’s shooting, Steve Scalise and Matt Mika are in critical condition.
Steve Scalise is finally out of surgery and is in critical condition according to a Fox News report at 2:59 p.m. EST.
Also in critical condition is Matt Mika.
The family of a Tyson Foods lobbyist Matt Mika, the fifth victim, said he is in critical condition. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds according to his family who are rushing to his side from Michigan. One shot was to the chest. He is out of surgery.
Mika has worked as a lobbyist for Tysons Foods for more than six years and is director of government relations in the company’s D.C. office.

“We’re awaiting word on his condition,” the company said in a statement. “We’re deeply concerned about him and his family.”
Capitol Police Chief Matthew Verderosa said his two wounded officers are in good condition and do not have life-threatening injuries.
