Suburban Blight Compliments of Barack Obama

“Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word, equality. But notice the difference: while democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude.”

~ Alexis de Tocqueville

Barack Obama is planning to sign onto a U.N. Climate Change treaty without congressional approval. He will rework a former treaty and call it an accord to bypass Congress.

The treaty, aligned with the U.N. Action Plan for Climate Change, is based in part on the idea that people must be moved out of open spaces and packed into crowded cities to save the plants and animals. At the same time, Obama has ordered the mapping of every neighborhood in the country with the express purpose of redistributing the wealth from the suburbs into the cities.

All of this is about redistributing the wealth.

The Progressives, who are hybrids of democratic socialists and hard core socialists, believe they know best when it comes to your money. Their ideas of centralizing everything breeds corruption, disincentives people, and it has never worked, but they won’t give up on their dream of equal income and equal wealth, which will inevitably exclude these elites.

Last November, Arne Duncan belittled “white suburban moms” in a comment he said was inelegantly stated. “It’s fascinating to me,” he said with some measure of condescension and contempt, “that some of the pushback [against Common Core] is coming from, sort of, white suburban moms who — all of a sudden — their child isn’t as brilliant as they thought they were and their school isn’t quite as good as they thought they were, and that’s pretty scary.” Duncan continued. “You’ve bet your house and where you live and everything on, ‘My child’s going to be prepared.’ That can be a punch in the gut.”

The criticism came from his gut.

This administration is anti-suburb. They are rabid subscribers of “regionalism”, which aims to fold all suburbs into cities, merge schools, housing, transportation, and, best of all for these corrupt bureaucrats, they will get to put all the revenue from taxes into one large pot to dole out as they deem appropriate.

Sometime in the future, there will be no more moving to crime-free areas with good school districts.

They are social engineers who will equalize all wealth and income. Their grand wealth redistribution scheme will transfer suburban tax money to cities and new urban, walkable communities which have a history of degenerating into hellholes of masses of people living in over-crowded conditions with soaring crime rates, and supporting ever-growing pockets of depressed welfare sectors.

Stanley Kurtz of National Review Online penned an article back in August, 2012 titled Burn Down the Suburbs? In it, he wrote about Obama and his community organizer mentors who hold the view that the cities suffer because of taxpayer “flight” to the suburbs.

Obama lived that belief as a community organizer. He channeled large sums of money from left-wing Chicago foundations where he served on the Board of Directors to anti-suburban activism.

He allied with one of his original trainers, Mike Kruglik, who has an organization called Building One America. It’s the anti-suburban crusade on steroids. They work with the Obama administration.

Kruglik and his colleagues in the movement have met with Obama in the White House. They literally plan to burn down the suburbs.

Here on Long Island, the movement is being led by Vision Long Island. Long Island is being set up as a unified city with walkable hubs. They want us out of our cars and onto trolleys and bikes and living in close quarters. Low income housing is meant to intermingle rich, poor, criminals, and hard working law abiding citizens. Millions are being poured into the efforts and our Congressman Tim Bishop is quietly leading the pack.

The regionalists in the White House and liberal local governments are using global warming and Agenda 21 as an excuse to press for development into densely packed cities with stack ’em and pack ’em housing. They are changing zoning laws and confiscating land for open spaces to make it happen.  On Long Island, they have planned urban hubs in a number of areas and the building has quietly and slowly begun. The planned hubs coincidentally match up to those outlined in the Agenda 21 plan.

The anti-suburban plans are part of the Sustainable Communities Initiative which is the Trojan horse of redistribution. Their regional planning grants include redistributive policies, transportation and development plans that run counter to suburbia.

Under the false banner of “saving the middle class”, Building One America is planning “inclusive suburbs” which means money will be rolled out of the suburbs and into the cities.

Building One America is all for forcing the poor into housing in wealthy and middle class areas. There are now mandatory minimum spaces for the poor in new multi-family housing developments throughout the country which fits into the Building One vision. Kruglik also has a revenue-sharing scheme.

The Common Sense Show has more on this for those interested.

This is part of a movement towards socialism.

Think about who is the new ruling class in our country. It’s the government army of workers. We are watching the empowerment of centralized government workers. They make the big bucks and they are intimately intertwined with the Democrat Party.

We no longer have free speech, we have politically correct speech. Rights are now defined as entitlements and we emphasize hand-outs over hand-ups.

Our youth have been brainwashed into believing capitalism is evil but the government stealing from people is not. They believe traditional Americans are controversial.

We are saving the environment based on computer models that have been proven wrong over and over again. It will cost us our comfortable lives as energy costs rise and energy sources become less readily available.

We are undergoing a fundamental transformation to an extreme form of socialism. Destroying suburbia and that particular American Dream is essential for it to take place.

Barack Obama fits Winston Churchill’s definition of a fanatic. “A fanatic is one who cannot change his mind and won’t change the subject,” Churchill said.

Obama plans to centralize all sectors of society and redistribute all wealth. He will not be deterred and he doesn’t care what anyone thinks. He has no time for threats from foreign entities and the only war he will engage in is the so-called war on climate. “This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal,” he bloviated in St. Paul upon his nomination.
