Terror-Tied CAIR to Sue Administration Over “Extreme Vetting” Order

CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, a terror-tied civil rights group, has announced their intention to file suit over Donald Trump’s new “extreme vetting” executive order.

They don’t even know what the “extreme vetting” will look like, a possible indication that they want to continue the current minimal vetting.

Why would a Hamas-linked group want extreme vetting after all?

“There is no evidence that refugees – the most thoroughly vetted of all people entering our nation – are a threat to national security,” said CAIR National Litigation Director Lena F. Masri said in a statement to LawNewz.com.

Trump’s order suspends the immigration of all people from countries with ties to terror including Syria, Yemen, Sudan, Somalia, Iraq, Iran and Libya for 90 days. The order also prohibits Syrian refugees from coming into the U.S. for an undefined period.

“We are not admitting into the country the very threats our soldiers are fighting overseas,” Trump said during General James Mattis swearing ceremony.

CAIR is calling it a “Muslim ban” and will address it at a press conference on Monday.

“This is an order that is based on bigotry, not reality,” Masari said. The group says they plan to wage a constitutional challenge to the executive order. The Trump order does not have language the bans Muslims explicitly. However, the order does say when the ban is lifted that federal agencies are instructed to prioritize refugee claims made by individuals “on the basis of religious based discrimination, provided that the religion of the individual is a minority religion in the individual’s country of nationality.” This could exclude many Muslims.

The unAmerican ACLU believes the order violates the Establishment Clause of the Constitution which prohibits discriminating against one religion or favoring another. They are calling the ban “discrimination”.

Islam is not only a religion, it is a cultural and political system.

The President has wide latitude in setting immigration policy.

CAIR has been very controversial, mostly for its radical members, radical conferences and deep ties to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood. It is a Muslim Brotherhood organization banned in some countries.

Back in 2013, Frontpage Magazine, exposed the Dallas CAIR Director Mustafa Carroll, who declared “Muslims are above the law of the land”.

“If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land,” said Mustafa Carroll, executive director of the Dallas-Fort Worth CAIR branch.

He told a crowd at a rally for Islam in Austin that members of the faith should not be bound by American law.

It was a rare moment of honesty for the political-relgion.

The rally was part of a nationwide effort to hold “Muslim Capitol Day” events. The event included a speech by a representative of Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, who declared that Texas was an awful place and that Islam was the answer.

“Why did Muhammad say that he would not rest until the Koran was the law of the land?”

“Islam does not have Texas in the current condition, the current socio-political condition that Texas is in. What is this condition that Texas is in? Why is Texas on the brink, when you look at Texas in comparison to 50 states, education, percent of population graduating from high school is 46, high school completion rate is 46, the scholastic assessment rate, the SAT score in Texas is 47, the percentage of population with no health insurance in Texas is first, those without health insurance Texas is first. When you look at the state of a child in Texas, the percentage of uninsured children, Texas is first… etc etc

You shouldn’t be filing legislation against Islam, when you look at Texas, Islam is not the problem. Islam is the solution. Allah Akbar.”

If Islam were the answer, the Muslim world wouldn’t be buried in illiteracy, poverty, poor health, abuse of women, children and animals, and there wouldn’t be such bigotry and violence.

Carroll defended terrorists.

“I think you can only blame Hamas for so long. It takes two to tango. And I think, you know, that what we’ve heard for a number of years is this terrorist, terrorist, terrorist, terrorist, Hamas, Hamas, Hamas, was not just Hamas.”

“Look at the true cause of the terrorism. It’s not somebody is reading a book, reading a Quran, and then go out and say, ‘Well, the Quran told me to blow this up. I’m gonna blow it up.’ The cause, the root cause of terrorism is oppression. The root cause of terrorism is oppression.”

It is clearly unAmerican to be a terrorist apologist and fight any effort to keep the U.S. safe.

As an aside, the Democrats want to turn Texas as they have California and are trying to overwhelm it with refugees and illegal immigrants who will vote for Democrats.
