A professor at Trinity College in Connecticut has created a furor for his blatant bigotry, calling white people “inhuman a-holes” who need to “die”. This was in the aftermath of the Scalise shootings in Virginia.
We believe in free speech but should he be teaching?
Johnny Eric Williams’ social media feed after the June 14 shooting of Louisiana Rep. Steve Scalise included racial tirades and commentary calling on minorities to “confront” white people and “end this now,” a reference to an alleged system of “white supremacy.”
“It is past time for the racially oppressed to do what people who believe themselves to be ‘white’ will not do, put end to the vectors of their destructive mythology of whiteness and their white supremacy system. #LetThemF–ingDie,” the associate professor of sociology said June 18 in a series of Facebook posts. “The time is now to confront these inhuman assholes and end this now.”
Mr. Williams’ Facebook page also featured an anonymous article on Medium accusing Mr. Scalise of being a racist and “one of the most anti-LGBTQ politicians in Washington.” It sure sounds like something he wrote.
“If you see [white people] drowning. If you see them in a burning building. If they are bleeding out in an emergency room. If the ground is crumbling beneath them. If they are in a park and they turn their weapons on each other: do nothing,” a June 16 article by “Son of Baldwin” says. “Let. Them. F-ing. Die. And smile a bit when you do.”
He is one of the many professors teaching students who are pursuing Social Justice and Sociology degrees among others. These degree programs focus on anti-white bigotry. Blacks are encouraged to take these courses.
Trinity shut down the campus Wednesday after they received threats
He hates white people and yet Trinity hasn’t even commented on the firestorm surrounding him. What self-respecting person would take a class with this guy? This is what kids get in college these days?
Trinity President Joanne Berger-Sweeney said in a statement Wednesday that the sociology professor shared a piece on his social media accounts this week that concluded with a call to show indifference to the lives of bigots. Williams also used a hashtag that connected directly to the conclusion of the article, Berger-Sweeney said.
She said his use of the hashtag was reprehensible and a dean is looking into whether college policies were broken.
The hashtag she is talking about it the one that says #LetThemFuckingDie.
As for the threats to the college, Hartford police said detectives are assisting Trinity with an investigation into the “non-specific, non-credible” threats.
In other words, they received very nasty calls.
Williams responded on Facebook and we include the entire screenshot because you can see his reaction and who he admires. Cuban communist terrorist Ché Guevara is among those he respects. In the bottom left corner of the shot you will see he’s friends with Mark Naison, a Marxist professor at Fordham University.
There is little doubt Williams is of the hard-left and he’s teaching kids.
Make no mistake, the white supremacy mantra is racism against whites.
