Trump has cruised to victory and is the 45th President of the United States. He lost two electors and Hillary has lost four though she had a total of seven defectors.
Texas put the Republican president-elect over the 270-vote threshold. Electors had been deluged with emails, phone calls and letters urging them not to support Trump.
It looks like the final count will be 304 for Trump and 227 for Clinton.
Two Texas electors of 38 cast protest votes against Trump, but in the end he had more than he needed. The faithless electors picked Ohio Governor John Kasich and former Texas Rep. Ron Paul. One of the electors Chris Suprun has been in the news over his sketchy history – his 15 minutes of fame is over.
Electors in Colorado, in Minnesota, and Maine tried to not vote for Hillary. the Colorado elector tried to vote for Kasich and the other two for Bernie, but state rules disallow it. All three votes were changed back and registered to Hillary.
An elector in Hawaii voted for Bernie Sanders
According to local news station KOMO, although Clinton won all of Washington state and should have gotten all 12 votes, four flipped and did not vote for her. Three votes were cast for Colin Powell and one vote was cast for Faith Spotted Eagle.
Faith Spotted Eagle is an activist who has been described as an “amazing and inspiring woman, mentor, teacher, and hellraiser.” Faith is deeply involved in grassroots efforts, including forming the Brave Heart Society to battle environmental injustice within Native American communities.
Will Hillary’s “faithless electors” be called misogynistic, sexist, and racist, for choosing Colin Powell and Faith Spotted Eagle?
In North Carolina, electors walked to the state house singing, “God Bless America”!

It’s ironic given the deluge of emails, calls and snail mail sent to Electors by the hard left demanding they switch to Hillary. Earlier this month, Bill Clinton blamed Jim Comey for his wife’s election loss as well as Trump’s ability to get angry, white men to vote for him.
President-elect Donald Trump “doesn’t know much,” former President Bill Clinton told a local newspaper earlier this month, but “one thing he does know is how to get angry, white men to vote for him.”
“James Comey lost her the election,” the former President told The Record-Review, a weekly newspaper serving several towns in Westchester, where the Clintons reside, referring to the FBI director’s decision to, just days before the election, reopen the probe into the former secretary of state’s private email server.
He neglected to mention that 53% of white women voted for Trump.
Clinton also railed against the alleged Russian hacking into the email systems of the DNC and top Clinton aide John Podesta, saying “you would need to have a single-digit IQ not to recognize what was going on” with the meddling.
Will Bill be called a bigot? Because he is.
Trump tweeted his response to the abuse towards electors. This clearly was a violation of the Voters Rights Act.
If my many supporters acted and threatened people like those who lost the election are doing, they would be scorned & called terrible names!
