Trump’s Showing Strength But Beware…

There are two shocking results coming out of the latest polls, one is on immigration and the other is on the strength of Socialist Bernie Sanders, a truly dangerous man.

First, there is some recent excellent news for Trump supporters.

Hillary’s double-digit lead has disappeared in one month and Trump has a slight lead in two new polls.

ABC/Washington Post national poll (pdf). The poll sample size of 1005 includes a mix of 33% Democrat, 27% Republican and 35% Independent. Democrats over sampled by eight points, (D+8).

With the sample skewed Democrat (D+8) Donald Trump still beats Hillary Clinton 46% to 44%, and Trump is crushing Clinton with Independent voters 48% to 35%.

A polling firm that worked for Rubio reported that Trump did not widen the base. He just got Republican voters out. For Hillary to win, she needs to get the 2008 turnout.

The shocking Fox News poll released on May 19th has the open borders candidate Hillary Clinton leading Trump 47% to 45%. In all likelihood, the respondents want the people here illegally to have a path to citizenship and have bought into the immigration reform idea pushed by the lawless president.

It’s a surprising response, perhaps alarming to those of us who want borders, and I’m not convinced this is accurate until I see the question. That question has not been released.

Immigration is a signature issue for Trump, but more voters not only trust Clinton to handle it, but she is also picked by a 35-point margin on “representing the views of Latinos.”

I think it’s more the presentation the Democrats have successfully manipulated. Do Latinos really all want illegal immigration with the drug cartels they escaped following them here? I doubt it.

Nearly one in five (17 percent) says agreeing on immigration issues is a deal-breaker for them when deciding their vote for president. That increases to 29 percent among Hispanic/Latino voters.

Trump leads Clinton 45 percent to 42 percent, within the poll’s 3-point margin of error overall . In the same poll conducted in April, Clinton led by 7 points — 48 percent to 41 percent. He leads on issues of terrorism and the economy.

As far as issues of trustworthiness, they both fall down and they both have high unfavorables.

In the new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, Hillary still leads but it has shrunk to 3 percentage points but that’s partly because Bernie is still in the race. It gives Trump a temporary advantage, but still, this is encouraging for Trump voters.

These are the unsurprising results:

Looking inside the numbers of her race against Trump, Clinton holds the edge among African Americans (88 percent to 9 percent), Latinos (68 percent to 20 percent), women (51 percent to 38 percent) and those ages 18 to 34 (55 percent to 32 percent).

She is out playing the race card every chance she gets.

Trump, meanwhile, is ahead among whites (52 percent to 36 percent), seniors (52 percent to 41 percent), men (49 percent to 40 percent) and independents (42 percent to 37 percent).

Alarmingly, against the almost-Communist Bernie Sanders, Trump loses 54% to 39%.

The USA is on the same dangerous path the rest of the world is already on. Statism here we come.

It’s still too early to tell but the trends are not good for freedom lovers.

Trump needs to do better with Hispanics, women and Republicans to win. The alternative is Socialism on the road to Communism. People are asleep and have no idea what they are choosing.

National Review Online’s Eliana Johnson said many women find Trump’s Alpha male personal “refreshing” and “attractive”. Is that it and can Trump increase his lead with women?
