The U.S. does have a real racial problem. Democrats keep race-baiting and making victims out of minorities to win their votes. They don’t give Blacks the respect they are due. Justice Ginsberg sees the racial problem as a 1960’s era problem ignoring the fact that a Black man won the presidency twice, ignoring the fact the Democrat policies have brought poor, uneducated minorities nowhere.
Justice Ginsberg wants the Voting Rights Act of 1964 restored so the federal government can prevent photo ID requirements. Since minorities are just as intelligent as anyone else, they are capable of obtaining photo ID easily. The only reason to not want it is to promote voting by ineligible voters. It also makes for a great straw man to rile people up.
Ginsberg recently lamented the Supreme Court’s reduced emphasis on combating racial prejudice and her proof for this is Justice Roberts saying racial injustice in voting is no longer a big enough problem to warrant the Voting Rights Act.
It isn’t but the leftists want to stay in the 1960’s because they want to keep minorities as part of their voting bloc.
Ginsberg is an ACLU leftist and everything she says and does comes from a far-left viewpoint. Aborting babies to the moment of birth is her pet project.
She seems to have hoped it would have gotten rid of social undesirables -she is one of the social engineers the left idolizes.
She discussed her views on abortion rights and sexual equality in a 2009 New York Times interview.
One statement she made during the interview -“Frankly, I had thought at the time Roe was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don’t want to have too many of.”
Who do you think she means? Rich White people like herself?
Harry Reid who once famously said Barack Obama was electable because he was “light-skinned” and had “no discernible Negro dialect” took a shot at Asian Americans last week.
Reid was addressing the city’s Asian Chamber of Commerce on Thursday when he said, “I don’t think you’re smarter than anybody else, but you’ve convinced a lot of us you are.”
When another man was summoned to the podium, he grabbed the microphone and quipped, “One problem I’ve had today is keeping my Wongs straight.”
The Blacks didn’t mind, the Asian-Americans didn’t mind but if Bush had said it, what a difference it would have made.
Andrew Cuomo ran for Governor in 2002 and had to pull out after making a racially divisive comment about his Black opponent Carl McCall.
While speaking to a Democrat group, Cuomo stated that voting for his rival for the New York Democrat gubernatorial nomination Carl McCall would create a “racial contract” between Black and Hispanic Democrats “and that can’t happen.” Upon initial reports, Cuomo denied the statement but later a tape recording of it surfaced. Cuomo later dropped out of the race for governor.
When his father ran for Governor, an oft-repeated refrain was “Vote for Cuomo, not the homo.” His opponent at the time was Ed Koch who may or may not have been homosexual. Mario’s son Andrew is said to have helped with that promotional stunt. Lovely!
Who could forget the nation’s crazy uncle who is one heartbeat away from the presidency, Uncle Joe Biden, who praised Obama as a “clean”, “articulate”, “bright” African-American. Remember how he told Black people we (meaning Republicans) want to kept them all in chains while using his demented imitation of a Black accent?
Democrats want us all in the chains of government dependence while they tell us all what to do, how to do it, and when we can do it.
Today, race hustler Al Sharpton will lead a protest march against White police officers. He has made it into a rally against the “murders” of two Black men by White officers though there is no proof yet they were murders.
He calls his protest, The Caravan for Justice, even though these cases are new and under investigation, in other words, no one has yet been deprived of justice.
Al’s goal is to rile up minorities against Whites and White police officers and make money in the process.
I could go on, but, so many Democrat bigots, and so little time.
I will leave you with these words from the now-deceased liberal icon, Mike Wallace – Blacks and Hispanics are ‘too busy eating watermelons and tacos’ to learn how ‘to read and write’. Delightful.
