Vanity Plate Canceled Because It “Promotes Violence Against Women”

A man in Canada can’t have his last name on his license plate because it’s too misogynistic and promotes violence against women. His last name – of German origin – is GRABHER.

The vanity plate was a gift from a son to a father. The father was thrilled and drove cross country with it on his camper.

Someone – apparently one person – complained and the plate was canceled. The son is appealing the decision.

If it only takes a license plate to promote violence against women, why do we allow rap music that talks about what to do to ‘ho’s’ and such.

The Department of Transportation said they understand the name’s origins but that’s not available for people to see on a plate so the plate has got to go.

Bureaucrats – gotta love ’em.
