Roseburg

A few hundred people showed up to protest for and against the president’s visit to Roseburg which was ostensibly to comfort the grieving families. He was seen with one family but the visit was kept quiet except for a brief statement by Obama.

Kendra Godon was in class at Umpqua Community College when the gun shots rang out. She thought it was a chemistry experiment gone wrong. Her friend, one of the victims, Kim Deetz, died from her injuries.

Another of her friends who was wounded had a speech prepared for Mr. Obama in which she said she didn’t want her name used in his anti-gun agenda.
