What You Really Need to Know About Monday’s Hearings

President Trump uses imprecise language which he will hopefully rectify in the near future but his basic contention that there was surveillance on his campaign, namely of General Flynn, is correct.

Prior to today’s testimony, Rep. Adam Schiff went further than any testimony or evidence suggested and accused the Trump campaign of colluding with Russia prior to the election to sway the election.

Republican Rep. Trey Gowdy shot that down during an interview with Bret Baier on Fox News, noting that Schiff was not a fact witness, that all the fact witnesses, the people who would know, have said there is no evidence of collusion.

The didn’t end the question, Gowdy said. The real question was the felonious dissemination of information.

“I would go ahead and tell you just assume that unless I am dead wrong, there is no evidence to support President Obama wiretapping President Trump,” Gowdy continued. “But the analysis does not end there.” “You have the dissemination — the felonious dissemination of classified information that will jeopardize 320 million Americans, and I would love it if our friends in the mainstream media would focus on the leak as much as they did the wiretap tweet.”

Gowdy’s point was whether or not there were specific wiretaps ordered by Obama on Trump Tower before the election or other surveillance that picked up Trump or aides, that the dissemination of leaks was meant to harm and was illegal.

“Wiretapping” is an outmoded term and it’s nothing more than semantics to use it. It’s obvious that there was surveillance of General Flynn as a member of the Trump campaign and it is also becoming clearer that someone disseminated the information illegally. It’s so serious an offense that the guilty party(ies) could spend ten years in jail for it.

The leaks of U.S. citizens’ classified information has unlawfully appeared in the newspapers.

This is what the media should be spending time on – at least as much time as they spend calling Donald Trump’s team Russian operatives.

This is very serious but the media isn’t terribly interested in it.

As a footnote to all this, the leaked emails from the Democratic National Party and the Podesta account (he fell for a phishing attack), were accurate. If the Russians were behind this, all they did was expose the corruption in the DNC and the Clinton campaign.

In this clip, Trey Gowdy grills Director Comey on an investigation of the felonious dissemination of classified material.

I only heard Comey’s opening remarks a little while ago. He doesn’t want to comment on any investigations YET he OPENS with Trump et.al. being under investigation. Apparently Justice “allowed” this to become officially public. I want to know Who In The HELL authorized this to be in the ‘public interest’. I doubt it could be Sessions since he said All matters Russian he would recuse himself. I WANT THE NAME.

To foment a conspiracy; I submit Trump, as now President, has learned of ‘something’ that any rational person in society would be appalled at if they knew. Considering all the laws passed, as the Patriot Act etc., I can’t help but wonder if there are activities that both Republicans and Democrats are privy to that Trump, as candidate, could never have imagined. As President, Trump cannot disclose such methods but ‘can’ tweet out something that causes such a firestorm that forces it to the forefront. The suspicions are further enhanced because of the questioning by Republicans which said absolutely nothing. It was almost as if they were facilitating covering up ‘With’ the Democrats.

It will be interesting to see the Other 99% of documents from the CIA that have yet to be released.
