Who Is Wendy Davis? Other Than Abortion Barbie I Mean – Update

“Lawmakers either get out of the vagina business or go to medical school.” ~ Wendy Davis

The real Wendy Davis before she became abortion Barbie.

Update: 01/21/14: This update comes from restate.  Davis was ordered to not take drugs or alcohol within 24 hours of being near her children.

In documents obtained by RedState, Wendy Davis’s own child requested her father be her custodian. Likewise, in filing his divorce against Wendy Davis, her husband requested the court enter the temporary restraining order.

The court, without an evidentiary hearing, did so. See the temporary restraining order here. The court ordered that Wendy Davis “be immediately restrained from . . . using illegal drugs or consuming alcohol within 24 hours before or during the period of possession of or access to the child.”

The court also ordered Wendy Davis to keep out of her residence anyone she was having “intimate or dating relationship[s]” with while children were present between 10pm and 6am.

Original Story: The real Wendy Davis has the ethics I would expect from someone who believes in killing an unborn child up until the moment of birth without cause. She was nicknamed “Abortion Barbie” by a Denton County GOP Chair. It’s a very appropriate monicker.

This is reprinted from Raine DeVries on the examiner:

  • Davis recently testified in a federal lawsuit over redistricting; records show her comments to be: “I had a baby. I got divorced by the time I was 19 years old. After I got divorced, I lived in a mobile home park in southeast Fort Worth.” According to public records, Davis was in fact divorced from her first husband at the age of 21 which means that she, as a Harvard educated lawyer, lied in her testimony in the federal lawsuit.
  • At the age of 23, she married an attorney, Jeff Davis who was 13 years older than she. He paid for the completion of her degree at Texas Christian University, cashed in his 401(k), and took out a loan to pay for her education once she was accepted at Harvard. Davis left her second husband days after he paid off the loan on her education. According to the DMN article: Jeff Davis said that was right around the time the final payment on their Harvard Law School loan was due. “It was ironic,” he said. “I made the last payment, and it was the next day she left.”
  • While Davis was in Boston attending Harvard, her husband raised her first-born daughter by another man and the daughter she shared with Jeff Davis.
  • Under the terms of the divorce, her husband received custody and she was required to pay $1,200 per month in child support.

A colleague and political supporter that has worked with Davis stated in the DMN article:

“Wendy is tremendously ambitious,” he said, speaking only on condition of anonymity in order to give what he called an honest assessment. “She’s not going to let family or raising children or anything else get in her way. He said: “She’s going to find a way, and she’s going to figure out a way to spin herself in a way that grabs at the heart strings. A lot of it isn’t true about her, but that’s just us who knew her.”

From the Dallas News:

In his initial divorce filing, Jeff Davis said the marriage had failed, citing adultery on her part and conflicts that the couple could not overcome. The final court decree makes no mention of infidelity, granting the divorce solely “on the ground of insupportability.”

Amber was 21 and in college. Dru was in ninth grade. Jeff Davis was awarded parental custody. Wendy Davis was ordered to pay $1,200 a month in child support.

“She did the right thing,” he said. “She said, ‘I think you’re right; you’ll make a good, nurturing father. While I’ve been a good mother, it’s not a good time for me right now.’”

Mr. Obama, who supports post-birth abortion in some circumstances, thinks she’s great. Check out his tweet in support of her and her ridiculous filibuster for up-to-the-moment of birth abortions:

Davis hired Obama’s chief pollster. They are two peas in a pod. I’m sure Governor Cuomo thinks she is great.

This is what a good makeover can do:

A lot of her  funding is coming from outside of Texas. No surprises there. The far-left wants her to win.
