Did you know this? Secretary of State John Kerry, also known as Old Horseface, gave 42% pay raises to foreign workers at the State Department. He made the announcement about the raises at the US embassy in Ethiopia at the end of April.
I don’t know how I missed that.
There seems to be end to how much money these people will spend. This is what he said:
“It means a lot to me that you came in here today, I really mean that, so that I have an opportunity to say thank you to you. But I’ve also got something special for you. Since it’s a holiday, I’m going to make you feel really good. All of the Foreign Service nationals are about to get a 45 [Footnote: 42] percent pay increase. (Cheers and applause.) And I want you to know – (applause) – it’s long overdue. You deserve it, and I want to note that the biggest applause of the day was for you getting your money, I don’t know. (Laughter.) Go figure. (Laughter.)”
He went on to tell the remaining staff that they would also receive a pay raise, albeit significantly smaller than that being given to the nationals:
“Everybody else, you will get a much smaller pay increase. (Laughter.) I’m sorry, but that’s the way it is. But at least it’s moving in a better direction than it has been in the last years, and I’m happy for all of you for that, that – it’s very important.”
The debt today stands at 17.5 trillion.
Meanwhile Kerry’s Iran deal is going as expected.
Rouhani announced today that Iran won’t give up any “nuclear advancements,” something he has been saying all along while Kerry has been pretending the opposite.
Rouhani said this to Fars News agency:
“We don’t intend to withdraw even one step from (our advancements in) the nuclear technology, but we want to grow active in legal grounds; we don’t retreat from our scientists’ achievements, rather we want to step in political areas to bring transparency to the world public opinion,” Rouhani said, addressing a ceremony held here in Tehran on Sunday to unveil three new medical achievements of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI).
At least Kerry’s on top of the Boko Haram. He noticed they don’t give healthcare or schooling.
Okay, maybe he’s not on top of them either.
Kerry recently insinuated that Israel was an apartheid state, damaging our relationship with one of our most important allies. Jay Leno is set to perform before Netanyahu next month and he said this: “I guess any American that’s not John Kerry is more than welcome there right now,” Leno said.
