Your Latest Version of the Newspeak Dictionary Has Arrived!

By Anthony Stark

Comrade Barry has issued his latest assault on the politically incorrect language formerly known as “English,” which is increasingly ONLY Spoken by ignorant bigots who cling to their guns and bibles, by having his Injustice Department redefine out of existence a concept basic to the maintenance of law and order.

In order to support the Left’s project to create a politically malleable language where words and meaning have parted company so that they can be made to serve a political purpose, we are now told that the words we have long utilized to express the concept of “Criminal” and “Convict” will be replaced by the politically correct phrase “justice involved individuals.”

According to an article at Conservative Tribune:

“…the term appeared in a recent statement issued by Attorney General Loretta Lynch regarding the work the administration was doing to coddle and pander, I mean, ease “re-entry” into society for criminals and convicts released from prison, whom the administration views as “the future” of our country… In an effort to help young people involved in the justice system find jobs and housing, the U.S. Departments of Justice and Housing and Urban Development today announced $1.75 million for Public Housing Authorities and nonprofit legal service organizations to address the challenges justice-involved individuals face when trying to find work and a place to call home…”

Of course, coddling and pandering to criminals is what you do when you want to take a significant step toward your REAL goal: giving released felons THE VOTE; so you don’t call it what it is, you call it what you WANT it to be.

And why not?

After all, under the pressure of those Elites who deem themselves to be intellectually and morally superior to the average citizen, we have recently rendered the concept of “marriage” as meaningless as if we decided to redefine the meaning of the word “up” to mean not only moving AWAY from the center of gravity but also to mean moving toward or staying even with the center of gravity… which will be of great help when we accidentally walk off our roof and try to fall UP.

Yes, it will be an irrational and deadly rejection of definitional reality as decided upon by billions of people over the course of 10,000 years, but at least no one’s feelings will be hurt by an “Upist” who is “Downophobic.”

Who cares if the billions of people who over the ages have decided that society is best served by a traditional definition of either the concept “marriage” or the concept “up”… or any other concept… if the Liberal Progressive political project requires destabilizing society by conceptually raping and exterminating them?

By the same token, if coddling the criminal class will reel in yet another set of dependent, robotic voters into the Grievance Lobby run by the Democrat Party, then you have to legitimize them by sanitizing the language to hide what they really are.

It is much easier to ask for extending the enfranchise to those who are “re-entering society” than to reveal to the far larger law abiding community that you are more concerned about capturing another dependable voting bloc than you are about empowering predators and unleashing their voting power on the pubic.

In his 1946 essay “Politics and the English Language” George Orwell… who later identified the threat of deliberately deceptive, politicized language (“Newspeak”) in his immortal novel “1984,” warned against the use of meaningless words and phrases that encourage unclear and irrational thought.

Orwell realized, as we seem to have forgotten, that when you destroy the meaning of language you destroy the ability to think clearly… and unclear thinking and decision making leads directly to tyranny.

To allow self-styled, self-serving elites to deliberately destroy our ability to think clearly because we lack the language to do so and to then manipulate its meanings in order to increase their power over us, is a grievous threat to Liberty that we should all fight strongly against.
