Update: 11/19/13: George Zimmerman was released on $9,000 bond with electronic monitoring this afternoon. He is not allowed to have weapons, come within 1500 feet of the victim, return to her home except for one time to arrange to get his belongings, and he must reappear before the judge in early January. The victim, Ms. Scheibe, said that a week ago, Zimmerman tried to choke her and she did not report that to police. She also reported that he has been threatening suicide.
George Zimmerman allegedly waved a shotgun at his girlfriend, 27-year-old Samantha Scheibe, smashed a glass cocktail table, and locked her out of her home in Seminole County home at about 12:30 pm on Monday, reports the Orlando-Sentinel.

He is reportedly being held without bail for assault with a weapon, domestic violence battery and criminal mischief. If Zimmerman gets bail, the Sheriff wants him on electronic monitoring, which is typical of domestic violence cases according to the Sheriff.
He offerred no resistance when arrested.
Scheibe and Zimmerman had a verbal argument and she told him to leave, according to Scheibe. He began packing his things including a shotgun and a rifle. She told Zimmerman she was going to call the police. He allegedly pointed the gun at her and asked her if she really wanted to do that.
Zimmerman was acquitted of Second Degree Murder of unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin last July.
In September, he was accused of threatening his estranged wife and her father with a gun.
He was also stopped for speeding twice in the time after his acquittal.
Zimmerman’s former attorney Mark O’Mara will not represent him in this case or any future cases.
