A 17-year old Danish girl was able to fight off a rapist by using pepper spray near a migrant asylum center. She will be prosecuted for carrying an illegal weapon. She had been knocked to the ground and the rapist tried to undress her.
This took place in the once idyllic Sonderborg.
The young girl faces charges and a $50 fine.
Local police spokesman Knud Kirsten told TV Syd: “It is illegal to possess and use pepper spray, so she will likely be charged for that.”

The man who attacked the girl fled from the scene and has not yet been charged but she will probably be charged under the arms act. All irritant sprays are banned. Stun guns are banned also. They simply can’t defend themselves.
It is unclear if the man was an asylum seeker or refugee.
Several females in Sønderborg reported feeling harrassed by the aggressive nature of male refugees at the local asylum centre, the Copenhagen Post reported.
Her case has caused a reaction on social media. “Self-defence is a human right,” said one user. Others offered to pay the girl’s fine for her.
