38 Republicans Voted Against the Second CR

The second House continuing resolution bill was voted down, and 38 Republicans voted against it. As reported earlier, Donald Trump singled out Chip Roy to be primaried.

Chip Roy doesn’t want the ceiling raised unless the bill comes with cuts. That would never pass, but he won’t give in on principle.

We are now heading for a government shutdown before Christmas. However, the original bill was totally unacceptable.

Republicans are still trying to come to an agreement.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries didn’t tell the truth when he blamed Elon Musk for the second bill. He knew it wasn’t true.

Jasmine is possibly the most annoying member of Congress.

Elon Musk is an advisor, period. Democrats decided a good way of debilitating Elon Musk and Donald Trump is to claim Musk is the power behind the presidency.

Update: The new bill that was voted down raised the debt ceiling by $5 trillion in five years.

Trump needs to do better than approve a 5 trillion increase. Good on those Republicans who voted for some fiscal sanity.

Shut it down till President Trump takes office. The useless fed workers sitting at home demanding to get paid will get fired January 20th. Also, NO pay raise for the payola Congress. They need a huge pay CUT! Conservatives have the solution. Separate spending bills for hurricane victims and farmers. NO NO NO pork for the demonrats.

38 heroes! Thank God some still know the mission, and it’s not making Congress richer. With inside trading, they all become millionaires!

Note that Trump’s also calling for an end to the “debt ceiling” charade. Very important Trumpian move to point out the Elephant in the room; “THERE IS NO DEBT CEILING”! Never has been and never will be. The debt limit exists for only one reason–to give politicians cover for spending boondoggles passed under emergency scare of governmnent default. It’s a lie. The government is actually required by law to pay the interest on outstanding debt. There is NO WAY that the pols would ever actually default.

To answer Jasmine Crockett (dead light bulb socket),

” Elon Musk does not belong to ANY lowly branch of government. He belongs to “We the People,”…ELON REPRESENTS YOUR BOSS—RULER OVER ALL THREE BRANCHES OF GOVERNMENT—the entity you answer to. If you weren’t dumber than a box of rocks, you would know that. Rest assured, the BOSS has a pink slip with your name on it!
