7 Ways the Collective Acted Stupidly This Week

It was hard to find competition for Barack Obama this week so we ended up giving him two spots on the list.

Actually, if you listened to Barack Obama’s interview on 60 Minutes, don’t you wonder if he shouldn’t be thoroughly evaluated by a team of mental health professionals?

Making fun of liberals – cathartic, making fun of Obama – priceless.

1.Barack Obama Is Anti-Immigrant

About Donald Trump, Barack Obama told 60 Minutes interviewer Steve Kroft that Trump “is tapped into something that exists in the Republican party that’s real. I think there is genuine anti-immigrant sentiment in the large portion of at least Republican primary voters. I don’t think it’s uniform. He knows how to get attention. He is, you know, the classic reality TV character and, at this early stage, it’s not surprising that he’s gotten a lot of attention.”

But Barack Obama bragged about deporting more illegal immigrants than any other president. In 2013, his deportations allegedly hit a record high.

He must be anti-immigrant!

During the same interview, he was asked about Hillary’s email scandal, he said, “I don’t think it posed a national security problem. I think that it was a mistake that she has acknowledged and– you know, as a general proposition, when we’re in these offices, we have to be more sensitive and stay as far away from the line as possible when it comes to how we handle information, how we handle our own personal data. And, you know, she made a mistake. She has acknowledged it. I do think that the way it’s been ginned-up is in part because of– in part– because of politics.”

He doesn’t think it was a national security problem? Even when she released the name of a CIA agent?

Then why did his Justice Department go after General Petraeus?

2. Hillary Clinton Is a Robot Who Doesn’t Sweat

Vanity Fair marveled at Hillary Clinton because…wait for it…she doesn’t sweat! They wanted to know what deodorant she uses. She also admitted she’s a “robot”. The title of their article is, Hillary Clinton: “I’m Really Not Even a Human Being”. Obviously her makeover team has their work cut out for them.

What a hard-hitting interview! They are living up to their past performance wondering if Kanye and Kim were having twins or how about the story about Monica Lewinsky’s influence on Caitlyn Jenner.

3. Olive Garden Joins Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts In the Ill Treatment of Police Officers Category

Olive Garden kicked a police officer out of a Kansas City restaurant because he was wearing a gun! He’s a police officer! I bet they wouldn’t have minded if a robber or a mass killer came in. Corporate did apologize.

Maybe when they do their forced sensitivity training they should include police officers.

4.Banning Halloween for Diversity

A Connecticut school district banned the Halloween costume parade because diversity and inclusiveness demand no one have a good time. What’s next? Thanksgiving because vegans might be offended that the eating of turkeys is being lauded?

5. Attacking Dr. Carson

Dr. Ben Carson is being widely criticized for everything he says by the left – all of the left. An interviewer recently asked what he would have done to stop the shooter in Oregon.

He responded,  “Not only would I probably not cooperate with him, I would not just stand there and let him shoot me,” Carson said. “I would say, ‘Hey guys, everybody attack him. He may shoot me, but he can’t get us all.'”

The timing was a little off but his point, as he said, is instructive. His opponents are just looking to demonize him.

One girl in the class played dead to stay alive and others bravely admitted they were Christians. They certainly were brave but people should consider chancing an attack mode if confronted with such a horrific situation as Dr. Carson suggested.

A man recently saved his own life when he shoved his arm down an attacking bear’s throat. He remembered hearing that bears have a serious gag reflex. Some people play dead and others shove their arm down a bear’s throat. You never know how you will react in a tragic situation like the one in Oregon but there is no harm in considering possible scenarios and being prepared.

The left also criticized him for saying the Jews would have had a fighting chance in Nazi Germany if they were armed. Hello! They would have had a better chance if they were armed.

6. Obama Again

It’s too easy if Obama is in the equation. He’s off the rails every day. His latest absurd claim, via Redstate, is that it’s easier to buy a gun than a book. Knowing that, I think I will hop on down to Barnes & Noble and get me an AK47.

“It’s not just mass shootings,” the president said. “It is the daily shootings that take place in cities across America. It is easier to buy a gun than buy a book.” He was trying to say there weren’t enough book stores in low-income areas. I guess he never heard of supply & demand.

He also attacked Christians again. He really doesn’t seem to like them.

The Washington Post reported that he interviewed Christian Marilynne Robinson, a Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist from Iowa. This is one of the questions he asked: “How do you reconcile the idea of faith being really important to you … with the fact that, at least in our democracy and our civic discourse, it seems as if folks who take religion the most seriously sometimes are also those who are suspicious of those not like them?” Obama asked.

7. Bowe Bergdahl Rewarded for Deserting and Endangering Other Soldiers

Lt. Col. Mark Visger, who is in charge of deserter Bowe Bergdahl’s Article 32 hearing, recommended he avoid jail time for his actions. He doesn’t even want him to have a punitive discharge. This supports a similar recommendation from Maj. Gen. Kenneth Dahl.
