The DREAM Act has two major components: 1. it gives an amnesty to illegal aliens who entered the country as children and have met certain educational requirements and 2. it reverses current law to allow states to provide in-state tuition to illegal aliens. Illegals would be eligible for taxpayer-funded grants. Janet Napolitano has admitted that she is not making the effort to deport individuals who come here illegally and stay below the criminal radar. Now Rep. Guitterez of Illinois has announced a 20-Plus city tour: “Campaign for American Children and Families.” He wants amnesty for family members of illegal children.
Rep. Guitterrez said, “Our message is simple: A broad set of immigration reforms is absolutely necessary to fix our broken immigration system in the long run, but in the meantime we must ensure we do not needlessly deport the parents and spouses of U.S. citizens and others who are here working, raising families and contributing to our nation and economic recovery.” Read more here: Amnesty for all
