Andrea Tantaros Called Out As A Liar After Being Sent on an Indefinite Vacation by Fox

Two National Review online reporters have called out one of Fox News’s popular hosts as a liar for comments she made about them on air. This could be the reason or a contributing reason behind Andrea Tantaros’s sudden removal from ‘Outnumbered’.

Monday was her last day – at least for an indefinite time. Fox said she was on an extended vacation over contractual issues and some suggested it had something to do with how she was advertising her new book.

Anything is possible, but being called a liar by two National Review reporters and possibly having been found to have made erroneous comments about them on air could be a serious problem for a cable news show.

Back in February, when she was suddenly taken off The Five to allegedly concentrate on co-hosting Outnumbered, Ms. Tantaros said she’s been hounded by establishment Republicans over her support for Donald Trump even to the point of suggesting that she should resign from her job.

“Specifically, Charles Cooke, who is a writer for National Review, he tweeted out that I should give my job to somebody else,” she said.

Cooke did suggest she give up her job but not over Trump. Cooke tweeted back in February, “Actually, I said that if conservatism had “failed” and needed to be restarted then she should give up her job too.”

She also said at the time, “…Also, I saw a tweet, it was a meme by Kevin Williamson of National Review trying to make me seem stupid. There’s a girl talking about biorhythms, or something. So I’ve gotten my fair share as well from folks on the right and the left and in the media calling me stupid and Trump supporters as well… Exactly I should give up my job according to men in the Republican Party.”

Williamson said it was merely a gif about electrolytes and called her a liar. [Electroytes do change during a woman’s cycle]

This is a tweet from yesterday from Cooke:

Three days ago, Cooke retweeted someone calling her a bad writer. He’s obviously not a fan.

Williamson tweeted this:

This is what he actually sent out. The link shows a gif of a woman saying it’s got electrolytes.

She made the comments twice.

I’ve noticed Ms. Tantaros making some mistakes on rare occasions as much as I like her and want to see her back on air, but they were mistakes. I would be annoyed if I were these reporters but are these mistakes, is she lying or are they attacking her unfairly? I know what I think, I don’t see her as a liar, but what do you think?
