At Least One Socialist Went Down in Defeat in a Democrat Party Primary

Sen. Tom Carper (D., Del.) beat his Socialist/Progressive/Communist opponent in the primary this week, slowing the far left’s takeover of the Democrat Party. He won handily with 64 percent of the vote.

He complained about the “out-of-state socialists” working to unseat him as he rode the Amtrak train back to Delaware on the day of its primary elections, according to a phone conversation overheard by a Free Beacon source on Thursday afternoon.

“There are a lot of people coming from out of state, socialists coming in, trying to defeat me,” Carper was heard saying. He called Harris a Socialist and stressed the need to stem the bleeding since they are “ruining the party.”

His very far left opponent Kerri Harris was being escorted by the attractive know-nothing Socialist/Communist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Carper had reason to be concerned after a Massachusetts Socialist/Communist came from about 13 points behind to 18 points ahead to beat Michael Capuano, a loyal Progressive.

The best thing for Democrats to do is not allow socialists and communists to run as Democrats. Instead, they have embraced them.

Harris received support from the Bernie Sanders Commies, ‘Our Revolution’ who joined her for the election eve “Rally for Racial and Economic Justice“.

Carper is more of a center-left Democrat which is a problem in Delaware, a once-competitive state, now reliably blue. He also recently admitted to hitting his wife once, something he had denied in the past.

The Huffington Post characterized Carper’s effort to hold off Harris as the “political fight of his life.”

Well, he won HuffPo to your disappointment.
