The propagandizing of our Long Island students has reached a new level, thanks to atheistic humanists and their grant offerings as seen in the ad below, which appeared in the Commack Patch.
The Ethical Humanist Society of Long Island (EHSLI) is offering grants to our middle and high school students with the laudable goal of making the world a better place. Who doesn’t want to make the world a better place???
Who are these generous and caring people? They are social justice humanists, peace activists, environmentalists, believers in religion without a deity. They look for scientific explanations as opposed to supernatural ones.
Ethical humanists, which is how they describe themselves, are atheists who promote atheism though they seem hesitant to use the word itself.
From their philosophical page: We abide by a non-theistic religious humanism belief that each and every person has moral worth and is deserving of both dignity and respect.
Don’t get me wrong, they have some excellent goals. There is no question they do good deeds, but their atheistic propaganda, which is the philosophical core of their every good deed, may not be what parents are looking for.
