Ben Rhodes, An Unmasking Person of Interest, All His Staff Still in the WH

Circa news is reporting that Ben Rhodes is a person of interest in the unmasking scandal in the House intelligence Committee’s investigation. This is according to a letter sent Tuesday by the committee to the National Security Agency (NSA).

The House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-CA, sent the letter to the National Security Agency requesting the number of unmaskings made by Rhodes from Jan. 1, 2016 to Jan. 20, 2017, according to congressional sources who spoke with Circa.

Rhodes worked closely with National Security Adviser Susan Rice and former President Obama. This goes right to the man at the top.

McMaster doesn’t see it as a problem.

“There’s no such thing as a holdover,” H.R. McMaster said back in July, referring to the career professionals who stayed on the council after the presidential transition. McMaster added that career staffers are loyal to the president.

Lt. Col. Schaffer reacted on Fox Business.

“One of the things I heard today was H. R. McMaster has not fired a number of people who worked for Obama. In fact those who worked for some of the staffers, Ben Rhodes for example, well Ben Rhodes has got, his staff is still there. It’s like having a rattle snake next to your bed and thinking some how if you’re just nice enough to the snake it’s going to be nice. It’s not like that.”

Both H.R. McMaster and Rex Tillerson disagree with President Trump on the Iran nuclear deal.

It’s becoming more and more likely there will be no evidence of Any unmasking. This will be another case that evaporates.

Since around 2013 when data was transferred to “Cloud Computing” and the easing of unmasking there is no longer the “paper trail” of who was involved. So whoever was the culprit I doubt there will be any revelations, let alone prosecutions in the future.
