The FBI does have an ongoing investigation into Hillary’s use of a private server and enforcement proceedings are looming. So much for her claim that it is a ‘security review.’
Vice News reporter Jason Leopold is seeking Clinton’s emails that the DOJ obtained from her private server. He is also seeking correspondence between the FBI and Clinton referencing the Clinton email server.
In March, the government filed a motion for summary judgment in the case, and incorporated a classified declaration as one of the supporting documents which has revealed some information on the nature of the investigation. Vice news made a case to have this made public.
Attorneys with the US Department of Justice said they cannot make this classified FBI declaration public because it would “adversely affect the ongoing investigation” into Hillary Clinton’s private email server.
In addition to stating a federal probe exists, it states that it could “reasonably be expected to interfere with enforcement proceedings.”
That hardly sounds like a security review. Hillary said it is just a “security review.”
