A bizarre ban by the British Medical Association will require doctors to call expectant women “pregnant people” instead of “expectant mothers” because transgender men can have babies, according to the Daily Mail.
They are defining transgender as anyone who thinks she is or prefers to be male despite biological gender and regardless of whether they have had reassignment surgery.
The ruling came after a transgender male, Hayley Cross, decided to have a baby before reassignment surgery.
The British Medical Association published the new dictum in a 14-page booklet called A Guide To Effective Communication: Inclusive Language In The Workplace.

It states, in all seriousness, that “a large majority of people that have been pregnant or have given birth identify as women. However, there are some intersex men and trans men who may get pregnant.”
No man has ever become pregnant. That’s just a fact.
They have a substitute for “mother” and that’s “person”. “We can include intersex men and trans men who may get pregnant by saying “pregnant people” instead of ‘expectant mothers’.”
In an introduction to the guide on the BMA’s website, senior executive Dr Anthea Mowat wrote: “I would encourage you all to read and share this guide, and think about how you can apply it in your day-to-day work. This is a time where we need to come together to support and protect our colleagues and our patients.”
If a Hayley Cross shows up in a hospital, she can be asked how she wants to be described, but to ban the use of the word for everyone is a bad idea.
This politically correct ban comes after one person said she is a man and decided to become pregnant while she is still a biological woman. As a result, all the women who are “mothers” will be denied their right to be called “mother”.

The guide also tells doctors that they should not use the terms “born man” or “born woman” in relation to trans people, as these phrases “are reductive and over-simplify a complex subject”.
It’s not complex. People are defined by their biology.
Bans against the word “mother” are extreme manipulation of the majority of the society.
Words should not be banned, especially words like “mother”.
This is very insulting to women. If you can’t use the word “mother”, it’s another strike at womanhood, the heart of the family and the culture by the politically correct and bizarre left.
Political correctness has always been a tool of the left to change the culture. The hard-left, in their efforts to disguise the effective, manipulative, and freedom-robbing tactic, is now blaming the right for its use and falsely claims there is a right-wing alternative.
Political correctness is politeness taken to extremes. It robs people of their free speech and it creates mass delusions. If words can no longer accurately describe a person or event, reality becomes distorted. It’s dangerous for society.
