Cali town is banning new gas stations, more to follow

Axios reports that Petaluma, California, has voted to outlaw new gas stations. Climate crazies want others to do the same.

Ordinances like this will be put in place in more liberal/leftist towns. Grassroots groups are popping up with the mission of spreading this type of ban and forcing pollution cleanups at existing gas stations, Axios reports.

The movement aims to accelerate the shift to electric vehicles.

“This is not a ban on the existing gas stations, which are providing all the gas currently needed,” Matt Krogh, U.S. oil and gas campaign director for the environmental group Stand. earth, tells Axios.

“The problem with allowing new gas stations is we don’t really need them and they’re putting existing gas stations out of business.”

That’s a good excuse.

Remember the evil oil companies meme from Shrubya Bush days?
All the clique of corporate criminal copsuckers changed stripes and jumped over to the CPUSA.
This top down revolution is about more for them and less for us, so stale and lame.

CCP drops off more every day at the Panama Canal but the printing presses are state of the art and will keep up until it’s like those old photos of starting fires with Deutsch Marks and wheelbarrowing over to the store with your Weimar Flyer filled to the brim.

The nearby little town where my ranch is has a shopping center with over a dozen Tesla Charging Stations. There is one, yes just one, Telsa owner in the City. Who in a farming community is going to buy a Telsa? The vast majority of vehicles here are pickup trucks, mostly 4wd, and many Large Duals for pulling large farm equipment. The Environmental Wackos really need to get out of their echo chamber. Electric Cars were a failure over 100 years ago and even with Government subsidies are still a failure today. Without the Government meddling in the free market, there would be NO Electric Cars on the road today.
