Colin Kaepernick proudly knelt during the National Anthem, showing his disdain for the nation, our flag and our military. He proudly wore police depicted as pigs socks to practice and when he gave interviews he sported Castro on his shirt. Now he can proudly remain unemployed because the teams “genuinely hate him”.
He became a free agent after a particularly poor showing last year.
Not one team has called him for a workout or an interview according to the Tribunist. An unnamed General Manager said, “First, some teams genuinely believe that he can’t play. They think he’s shot. I’d put that number at 20 percent.”
Also, “some teams “fear the backlash from fans after getting him,” because of the disrespect he showed.
Possibly the most important reason cited by the source: “Third, the rest genuinely hate him and can’t stand what he did [kneeling for the national anthem]. They want nothing to do with him. They won’t move on. They think showing no interest is a form of punishment. I think some teams also want to use Kaepernick as a cautionary tale to stop other players in the future from doing what he did.”
Some executives have even gone as far as calling Kaepernick “an embarrassment to football.”
