Former FBI Director James Comey is expected to testify this week that he believes President Trump was deliberately trying to meddle in the FBI’s investigation of Russian interference in the presidential election, according to CNN.
What an epiphany!
The suggestion is that Trump is guilty of obstruction of justice.
“You have to have intent in order to obstruct justice in the criminal sense,” the CNN source said, adding that “intent is hard to prove.”
Obstruction of justice is cause for Impeachment.
MSM claims the preponderance of evidence could show intent. For example, the investigation will now include interviews with everyone who is in any way tied to this case. If they say Trump fired Comey because of Russia, they can establish intent according to the media.
The man who could find no intent in Hillary’s obvious criminal behavior suddenly thinks there is intent in Trump’s nuanced conversations.
Comey could actually be a “crazy nut job” or a political hack out for revenge.

President Trump has said that the Russia situation was a reason to fire Comey. Trump told NBC’s Lester Holt in an interview that he was thinking “of the Russia thing” when he dismissed Comey. The media says it establishes intent when taken together with other comments made by Trump.
The Hill claims Trump made several questionable requests of Comey regarding the investigation, according to leaked reports and transcripts.
Trump reportedly asked Comey to “let this go,” speaking of the investigation into Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn, according to The New York Times.
Additionally, Trump repeatedly asked Comey when Comey would announce the president himself was not part of the investigation. Trump has denied collusion between his campaign and Russia.
It’s likely another gimmick to get Trump to resign and Comey is a party to it if the news is to be believed. It is also a way to keep this going into the next big election in 2018. The Democrats hope to win back Congress. If they win the House, they can move to Impeach Trump.
People should know that many Comey friends are liberals and one of his friends is Robert Mueller, the man who will investigate Trump collusion with Russia and Russia interference in the election. Comey also has some ties to the Clinton Foundation.
The war against Trump isn’t just a war against Trump, it’s a war against the people who voted for him and what they believe in.
It will be interesting to see how Comey covers for his statements on May 3.
On May 3, Comey testified under oath that no one at the DoJ — and he suggested no one at all — has told the Bureau to stop investigating – “it has not happened”. “It would be a big deal” if someone tried to stop an FBI investigation for a “political reason.” Sometimes they “offer opinions”, he said.
Apparently he has changed his mind since May 3.
Deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe reported that the White House did not interfere in any investigations this month.
