Comey Will Testify Trump Did Not Obstruct Justice, But He Plans to Do Harm

The following report is according to a source familiar with Comey’s thinking who spoke with ABC News. In other words, the former FBI Director is leaking information he would not give to senators when they asked.

Former FBI Director Jim Comey will not testify Trump obstructed justice. If he does, he could land in legal trouble. As an FBI employee, he would have been required to report it.

ABC news reports there will, however, be much to make the White House uncomfortable.

He’ll stop short of saying it was obstruction of justice.

According to the leaks, Comey wrote a memo quoting the President as saying, “I hope you can see your way clear to letting this go, to letting Flynn go,” during a February meeting.

It’s something anyone might say to protect a person they respect and like. Trump’s a businessman with no understanding of the system.

Leaks indicate he made more incriminating statements Comey wrote down.

Comey, after doing a poor job as Director, feels the need to share his concerns about the President.

“He is not going to Congress to make accusations about the President’s intent, instead he’s there to share his concerns,” the source said, and tell the committee “what made him uneasy” and why he felt a need to write the memo documenting the conversation.

We all know Comey is incapable of finding intent, no matter how obvious.

Comey told associates he plans to testify that despite the unusual request from the president he believed strongly that if he did his job properly he could conduct the investigation in an honest way, ABC News wrote.

ABC News is left-wing by the way, as is the mainstream in general.

Comey told associates he will not corroborate Trump’s claim that on three separate occasions Comey told the president he was not under investigation as part of the probe into Russian meddling in the U.S. election.

This failed Director, who won’t respond to questions from bipartisan senators, will leak. What does that tell you?

Comey will testify Thursday at 10 a.m. EST.

Just as an aside, why is it these people who are fired never slink away into anonymity?

So it seems that Comey will paint Trump in the same light as Hillary. Though Hillary committed many serious crimes, and Comey has nothing on Trump, his position is that both did wrong but are not prosecutable.
