There is no point in discussing the pluses and minuses of the defunct Obamacare replacement bill because it’s dead. President Trump said they came close, within 10 or 15 votes. Speaker Ryan refused to blame the Freedom Caucus, which is good.
Fortunately, they didn’t take it to a floor vote because what happens is Republicans in blue states would figure it’s going down and decide to not stick their neck out by voting for it. The vote against could have been higher than expected. It’s a great day for Democrats who are having a ball with this but they’d better not get too cocky because Obamacare – their bill – is going down. It’s collapsing.
It’s great that it failed. Let Obamacare collapse so that no lies or distortions can hide the fact the Democrat healthcare is a failure.
Pelosi is so happy but she’s stupid. She said 24 million people wouldn’t have healthcare but that would have only been if they chose to not have healthcare. Comments she makes about seniors being hurt is untrue. Democrats are the ones who bled Medicare to pay for Obamacare.
Bernie was thrilled and said, “Defeat of the disastrous Trump-Ryan healthcare bill is a major victory for working families”.
Working families have unaffordable premiums and deductibles, but Bernie was never one to let reality get in his way.
Repulsive Schumer proclaimed, “I have never seen an administration as incompetent”. This is from a hack that has done nothing for New York except vote to spend money to pay off special interests or dabble in petty concerns.

Let them have their fun. It will be short-lived.
As the President said, as it came closer to Republicans replacing it, the Democrats started saying it was working.
“But the one thing that was happening as we got closer and closer, everybody was talking about how wonderful it was and now it will go back to real life,” the President said.
Now people will see for certain that it’s not working. As Trump said, the real losers are Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer because now they own Obamacare. It’s nothing but Democrat healthcare.
People will see how bad it is and it’s getting much worse. It will cease to exist in the near future. When they are willing to work on a great healthcare bill in the future, after Obamacare fails, Republicans are open to it.
Trump said 2017 will be a bad year for Obamacare. He thinks Democrats will come around but that’s hard to imagine right now.
“I said the other day when President Obama left, ‘17, he knew he wasn’t going to be here. ‘17 is going to be a very bad year for ObamaCare, very, very bad,” Trump predicted.
“You’re going to have explosive premium increases and your deductibles are so high people don’t even get to use it. They’ll go with that for a little while. I honestly believe — I know some Democrats and they’re good people. I honestly believe the Democrats will come to us and say, look, let’s get together and get a great health care bill or plan that’s really great for the people of our country. And I think that’s going to happen.”
