DJT: No Long-Range Missiles Will Be Sent to Ukraine

During a press conference on Monday with NATO secretary general Mark Rutte, president Trump announced that the US will send weapons to Ukraine that Europe pays for. However he has made it clear that he will not send JASSM long range missiles that could reach Moscow and other targets deep inside Russian territory.

The Telegraph reported that Donald Trump has ruled out sending long range missiles to Ukraine. Asked on Tuesday whether the US would deliver deep-strike munitions to Ukraine, he went on to say, “No, we’re not looking to do that.”

“Ukraine should not attack the Russian capital,” he said, adding: “I’m a nobody’s side. You know whose side I’m on? Humanity’s side.”

That is not going to go over well with those who want to continue the war, or who don’t understand what he means. However, what he is making clear is that he doesn’t want Ukrainians or Russians to die. That is the most humanitarian goal one could have. This war never should have happened. Too many people have died. It’s time to end it and save the lives of all these young men and civilians.

Russia should never have invaded Ukraine. A fraudulent Minsk II agreement should never have happened. The Graham-McCain-Blumenthal-Nuland-Pompeo-Johnson interference in Ukraine should never have happened.

Two days ago Trump was talking about bombing Moscow. TRUMP puts every life on planet earth in grave jeopardy, not just the 14 year old girls he diddles.

Today Ukraine. Tomorrow the Baltic States? Poland? Finland? Moldova?
And who then.
The world will be better off if Russia is defeated in Ukraine.
Even better if no US troops are involved.
US weapons, ok by me.

So the author believes a stern lecture and ceding Ukraine to Russia was the way to go…marvelous plan, the type on Hitler got from Chamberlain…how’d that work out for the rest of the entire world??? Russia is conducting a war crime terror campaign against Ukrainian cities and civilians daily and Moscow should be left untouched…in what universe is that being… Read more »

The United States has been promising to clean the Nazi’s out of Ukraine since the end of WWII. Instead, the CIA made deals with them. That is Russia’s biggest complaint and why they’re doing it themselves. Don’t know much about much, do ya?

I feel better to hear that Europe is paying for the weapons we send…though anything we send to Ukraine is a drain on our own defensive capabilities. I’m a MAGA guy…but how can you scream for a peace treaty and keep supplying one side with arms?

Draining our defensive capabilities…not hardly. You’d merely deter the Russians for trillions while the Ukrainians are destroying them for billions. The issue he shouldn’t have to “scream” for a peace treaty. Zelensky agreed to a cease fire when Trump first offered it, still awaiting Putin’s reply. Putin wants surrender or the peace of the grave/enslavement and the Ukraine wants a… Read more »

Simple-to allow the Ukrainian people so means of stopping the Russian slaughter in the face of Russian refusal for a ceasefire. In the end the whole mess lies at the feet of Obama. If he had been a strong, wise man instead of a wimp the Russians would never have invaded the Crimea in early 2014.

Lots of the crosstalk and disinformation being put out there is to discredit Trump. They sense Trump’s PR weakness over the Epstein failures. Anyways if the USA escalates Ukraine the GOP is in big trouble. But much of both parties supports that, and have supported that all 3 years.

sometimes even politicians do the right thing. The GOP is hardly in trouble over this, the loud mouths of the party as you said are not in the majority but seemingly pro Russian either because they are afraid (great leadership there) or God really knows what some oligarch gave FJB and his welp some money???
