DOJ Knowingly Spied on House Members via AP Records Grab

This isn’t a political DOJ, is it?

When the AP phone records were grabbed by the DOJ, they included the AP phone records from the House press gallery. The DOJ admitted to looking at the phone records which included those of House members. These records reveal a lot of conversations between the press and members of Congress.

Congressman Nunes is very concerned about the separation or powers issue if the DOJ is allowed to seize records that include phone records of congress.

In this videotape, Nunes accidentally says the DOJ seized the records from the cloak room, but he means from the Capitol.

This also brings up the possibility that the DOJ might care more about politics than about securing the safety of the American people they purport to care so deeply about.
