Donald Trump responds to Fox’s cancellation of Lou Dobbs #1 show

Lou Dobbs’ popular, #1 Fox Business show has been canceled and the network will part ways with the host, the LA Times reports. Mr. Dobbs is one of Donald Trump’s staunchest supporters. He fiercely stood by him and complaints of election fraud.

THE LAWSUIT

Dobbs, 75, was named with Maria Bartiromo, and Jeanine Pirro in a $2.7 billion lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting Services against Fox, announced yesterday.

The company claims the hosts perpetuated lies and disinformation about Smartmatic’s role in the election, damaging its business and reputation.

However, Fox News says that isn’t the reason Dobbs is being canceled. They are standing by their hosts, and claim the lawsuit is meritless.

“As we said in October, Fox News Media regularly considers programming changes and plans have been in place to launch new formats as appropriate post-election, including on Fox Business,” the representative said in a statement. “This is part of those planned changes. A new 5 p.m. program will be announced in the near future.”

Tonight is the last Dobbs telecast. Starting next week, the program will be called “Fox Business Tonight.” Rotating substitute hosts Jackie DeAngelis and David Asman, who filled in for Dobbs on Friday, will take over for now.

There go the ratings.

HE’S STILL UNDER CONTRACT

Dobbs, 75, remains under contract at Fox News but he will in all likelihood not appear on the company’s networks again. In addition to his Fox Business Network program, he occasionally turned up on the Fox News Channel as a commentator.

This is all quite sudden.

TRUMP STATEMENT

Donald Trump issued a statement on Lou Dobbs: “Lou Dobbs is and was great. Nobody loves America more than Lou. He had a large and loyal following that will be watching closely for his next move, and that following includes me.”

RATINGS AND FRAUD

CNN claims ratings are an issue leading to the change. Axios believes that following the Capitol melee, the future of the Republican Party, in part, hangs on whether fringe conservative media or traditional conservative commentary will dominate with audiences.

They say “fringe,” not us. If I were to translate this, I’d say they are censoring Magas.

According to Axios, on the other side, Cumulus Media, home to many right-wing radio personalities, has told hosts to stop suggesting the election was stolen, the Washington Post reports.

Fox is definitely going downhill. I’d started watching Fox business because of Dobbs. Eventually they’ll be a part of CNN. They’re not strong enough to fight the left and will soon join them.

Unlike Coward Tucker, Lou did not allow Fox hacks to restrict his content. Lou has worked too hard and been around too along to allow that.

The coup is extremely powerful, corporations make unprincipled decisions which also reduce their revenue.

Asman is very good, he has long deserved another show, has been passed up for very inferior hosts. But he will be restricted, not having been given the show exclusively.

FUX thinks we are all as stupid as the person who pulled up the hearse err I mean Biden limousine in front of HQ.
It hasn’t went very well for the comrades after that stunt and calling it early for Beijing Biden was tacky like a Jen Psaki presser.
I hold them in no regard and can watch Tucker snippets online or convert one of his videos to mp3 and listen that way.
FUX free is the way to be and it works for little ol’ me.

Lou is very wealthy and 75 years old. He will be fine. He imo is the only true Trump loyalist on F0X. I personally haven’t watched F0X in six years.

FOX has been in a steady decline I only watch Tucker Carlson. I’d rather read the news on several different sites than watch it. The high pitched little girl voices of many of the women commentators is like hearing fisher cats in heat. I’m a woman. It has nothing to do with being sexist. It’s simply annoying. I watch local news and weather then turn the boob tube of and play music. The quality of programs on TV isn’t worth the cost of cable. Who in their right mind wants to pay to watch
inane truly dumb butt commercials? When the commercials are that awful why buy the product they advertise? Who comes up with that crap?
