“My job is not to represent the world, my job is to represent America,” the President said.
This was a wonderful speech.
President Trump’s speech was one of the finest in the halls of Congress. The full address is posted below.
The memorial to Ryan Owens, the Navy SEAL who laid down his life for his country, was the highlight of the evening.
It was the most moving moment of the night with everyone giving his wife a standing ovation. His wife Carryn said, “I love you baby,” as she looked to heaven.
Another high point among several was his offer of congratulations to a young woman named Denisha who broke the cycle of poverty in her family as the first in her family to graduate from high school and college.
The President also recognized the families of victims of illegal aliens. Trump addressed a young woman who suffered and overcame a rare disease. Calling on the widow and daughter of a murdered police officer was touching.
He talked about radical Islamic terrorism, condemned the attacks on Jewish cemeteries, and spoke of the need to help our black communities. He will repeal and replace Obamacare.
Trump wants to deport illegal alien criminals. What’s wrong with that?

By way of contrast, we have the Democrats who brought illegal aliens to the address and looked angry, except for Nancy Pelosi who looked comatose.
Prior to the address, MSNBC was irrelevant. Chris Matthews went nuts.
