Egypt on the Brink As Mainstream Media Lies to US Public

EgyptPhoto of Egyptians being dispersed with smoke bombs. In most of the videos posted yesterday and today, the violence and hysteria appeared to be coming from the Brotherhood.

The Muslim Brotherhood is seeking confrontation because they are terrorists who attempted to win over the people bloodlessly. Not being able to continue along those lines since the uprising, the Brotherhood is showing themselves for who they are.

The interim government has been split over what to do because they know the Brotherhood is looking for a violent Civil War. The Brotherhood does not care who gets tortured and killed.

The Egyptian military has been reluctant to use the police who can get out of hand until Wednesday when they launched a predawn raid of two Brotherhood camps in Cairo.

The Egyptian military still has the support of the people and wants to keep it that way. They were not looking for confrontation and gave the Brotherhood several warnings.

Tourism has disappeared and business is ground down in Egypt. The instability is destroying the economy. Something has to be done but the Brotherhood has refused all efforts at negotiation.

The people want economic stability but the Brotherhood is intent on forcing through Sharia law over stabilizing the economy.

The Sinal Peninsula is out-of-control with terrorists finding refuge there.

Ask yourself, is the Brotherhood a legitimate party or a state-within-a-state? Is it a legitimate party if they are ready to fire on their countrymen and martyr themselves for Sharia law?

The Brotherhood is an armed militia. They killed Sadat who worked out the peace agreement with Israel, something the Army would likely continue to do while the Brotherhood would not. The Army is also likely to keep the Suez Canal open. Their goal is freedom and a good economy. The Brotherhood’s goal is a stringent form of Sharia.

It is important to note that El Baradei, the interim VP, has resigned. He believes that there were many more peaceful ways to end the violent disruptions by the Brotherhood. The Army and the leader of the secularists appear to be split.

CNN posted an article which made it seem as if innocent Muslim Brotherhood members were mowed down – massacred in fact – by the Army as they slept peacefully in a protest camp. CNN portrayed the Islamists who refused to leave as gallant fighters for a just cause.

They did post this from an Egyptian billionaire with a different point of view:

Naguib Sawiris, an Egyptian billionaire who helped found the anti-Morsy Free Egyptian Party, said his party had video of Muslim Brotherhood members “shooting machine guns on civilians, on police. So anyone who wants to call this a peaceful demonstration would be wrong.”

He also insisted, “This is no war zone.”

Words like ‘insisted’ and ‘claimed’ were used when referencing the Army supporters and words like ‘told’ and ‘said’ were used when referring to the Brotherhood. Those words were carefully chosen.

The Army has accused Morsi of collaborating with the militant group Hamas to carry out hostile acts, attacking law enforcement buildings, officers and soldiers, storming prisons, vandalizing buildings and deliberately burning a prison. Our media has mocked those accusations.

President Obama has condemned the violence. No one wants this violence but the Brotherhood has refused to leave its course.

We need to stay out of the internal dealings of Egypt but we do need to know the truth.

The comments after the article are more interesting than the actual article and they might be more accurate. They come from Egyptian who are in Cairo.

I am a witness to what happened at El Nahda square this morning, since I overlook the square. I am awake since 5 a.m. and have followed the events minute by minute. The police force demonstrated a very high degree of professionalism,a great deal of restraint. and a sincere concern for human lives including those demonstrators who showed the police and army no mercy. I cannot stand to listen to the news coverage of CNN or BBCworld or Sky news. who are showing pictures of those criminal demonstrators with machine guns , weapons, and their snipers on rooftops and claiming that these are the police force shooting at unarmed helpless demonstrators? Are they that biased that they can so flagrantly twist the truth? or do they think that all these cameras and reporters covering the events are blind? Wake up. You are losing your credibility…...Do you not hear of all the arms and ammunition found among these peaceful demonstrators??????? Do you not hear of the dead, tortured bodies found buried in and around El Nahda square and Rabaa traffic light? Or how they terrorised the lives of the residents of Rabaa and made their life hell????? would you accept that to happen to your neighbourhood and then tell me “‘PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATORS?????????????” Go back to being the respected news channel that we all once enjoyed watching. I hope that somehow this testament will reach you eyes and ears, and for the record the army did not fire any shots . either.copied from a friend.

What about the bombing in Sinai by the Muslim brotherhood? And one of the leaders of the Muslim brotherhood said that as soon as morsi came back to power they will stop the bombing! How could u support those terrorists? U want us just to sit and take these threats in and watch! I don’t understand! What if these kind of things was happening in the USA or Europe? How would ur governments act towards such things. The answer is clear at least for me.Unlike · 5 · Reply · 2 hours agoMostafa Nasr

I am a liberal Muslim Egyptian and I support our army forces. The mbs were asked to leave peacefully yet they decided to start this violence. They had the choice to leave and reallocate peacefully weapon free somewhere else!

We went out in millions against morsy’s fascist regime and we fully support our police and army to put an end to this terrorist organization which your Obama administration is supporting !!!

Walid Shoebat has translated the report by the Turkish News Agency Anatolia as follows:In an interview with the Anatolia News Agency, Saad Al-Shater, the son of a Muslim Brotherhood leader, the detained Khairat Al-Shater, said that his father had in his hand evidence that will land the head of United States of America, President Obama, in prison. He stressed that the senior U.S. delegation currently visiting Egypt, knows full well that the fate, future, interests and reputation of their country is in the hands of his father, and they know that he owns the information, documents and recordings that incriminate and would condemn their country. Such documents, he says, were placed in the hands of people who were entrusted inside and outside Egypt, and that the release of his father is the only way for them to prevent a great catastrophe. He stated that a warning was sent threatening to show how the U.S. administration was directly connected. The evidence was sent through intermediaries which caused them to change their attitude and corrected their position, and that they have taken serious steps to prove good faith. Saad also said that his father’s safety is more important to the Americans than is the safety of Mohamed Morsi.Writing in his blog, Shoebat noted that six different Arabic sources confirmed the interview with Saad Al-Shater and the report of Al-Shater’s claims. [Editor’s note: The terrorist’s son says his father has evidence that Obama has committed a crime but it can’t be released unless his father is. Sounds like a ridiculous way to get a prisoner out of jail.]
