EU Deadbeats Snicker But They’re Finally Paying Up

Some childish EU leaders appeared to snicker during President Trump’s speech as he called them out for not paying their fair share to NATO. The President of Luxembourg started it off but his wealthy nation pays only .44% instead of the agreed-upon 2%. France, also grinning stupidly, gives 1.78%. The U.S . pays 3.61%.

France’s economy is sinking like the Titanic and they’ve depended on the U.S. for their own security. Maybe the new leftist president of France should stop snickering. Perhaps they were snickering at something else – we don’t actually know.

These leaders were rude and undiplomatic and they are in the wrong if they were snickering at the President of the United States.

The left thinks Trump was terrible for embarrassing them but neither Bush nor Obama, who were too diplomatic, got a dime more out of these people. Trump has.

De Spiegel, the far-left mag rag in Germany reached a new level of arrogance, even for hardcore leftists. They said the following:

He [Trump] does not possess the requisite intellect and does not understand the significance of the office he holds nor the tasks associated with it. [they linked to leftist John Podesta – Soros’s buddy]…

…He is a man free of morals. As has been demonstrated hundreds of times, he is a liar, a racist and a cheat. I feel ashamed to use these words, as sharp and loud as they are. But if they apply to anyone, they apply to Trump

…Trump is also a miserable boss.

It’s a pointless ad hominem attack arising from pure hate.

This is from leftists who are destroying their own nation’s sovereignty. They are not only anti-American, they are anti-German, pro neo-communism. Nothing has changed since WWII. They’re the same statists in different clothing. These are the people ruling the EU with an iron fist, claiming they know how to run a democracy, preaching to the U.S.. They know how to run a statist government only.

The Europeans portrayed Trump as the ugly American while he was in Europe because he appeared to shove an EU leader [who happened to smack him back, perhaps that’s their relationship?] and after he gave France’s pajama boy a tough handshake. However, the Europeans liked pajama boy Obama – enough said. President Trump demanded money and they are starting to pay up. The Trump is a success.

Trump responded.

The Boston Globe wrote: “On trip, a more presidential look for Trump. His less diplomatic side mostly under wraps abroad…his day overseas revealed that he’s capable of avoiding major gaffes and of sticking, for the most part to the script.”

For the left-wing Globe, that is high praise indeed.

Those percentages mentioned at the top of the article refer to total military spending from each nation’s GDP, not the total NATO Budget. The USA pays almost 1/4 of the direct NATO budget. But that budget is small because it only pays for pretty buildings and bureaucrats. It doesn’t pay for war. So NATO members are each supposed to pay 2% of their GDP for defense as a show of commitment to world security. Germany and France, among most other members, are WAY behind on the rent, so the USA pays for their cheap, freeloading butts–in blood and treasure–as usual!
