Fox News anchor Shepard Smith is stepping down at Fox News, the network announced Friday.

Oh man, that is too good to be true. Merry early Christmas!

Friday’s edition of “Shepard Smith Reporting” will be the show’s last, the long-time anchor announced.

“Shep is one of the premier newscasters of his generation and his extraordinary body of work is among the finest journalism in the industry,” Jay Wallace, President & Executive Editor of FOX News Media announced.

“Recently I asked the company to allow me to leave FOX News and begin a new chapter. After requesting that I stay, they graciously obliged,” Smith said. “The opportunities afforded this guy from small-town Mississippi have been many. It’s been an honor and a privilege to report the news each day to our loyal audience in context and with perspective, without fear or favor.”

Smith was given total freedom to spew whatever lies he chose and he was paid handsomely for it.

His main goal in life appeared to be trashing Trump and holding wild parties in Quogue.

After 23 years of damaging Fox’s reputation, the 55-year-old is gone. It was a gracious goodbye, surprisingly.

Is he going to CNN or MSNBC or Pravda, where he belongs?

All the whack jobs on Twitter are claiming Attorney General Bill Barr got him fired because Barr met with Rupert Murdoch — allegedly — this week.

Neil Cavuto was shaken by the departure of the fake news reporter.
