Earlier this week, New York radio personality, Mark Simone mentioned a video featuring President Barack Obama praising Russia and encouraging Americans to “expand dialogue and cooperation” while “partnering” with “our former adversaries”.
Given the continued hysterical media coverage of unfounded allegations regarding Trump’s connections with Mother Russia and Vlad Putin, we figured the tape was worth a look.
Our thinking was it might be an interesting/fun exercise to imagine the press reaction if this glossy, carefully crafted work of pro-Russian propaganda delivered by Barack’s White House.gov, had instead been brought to us by The Donald’s White House.gov.
Watch the flattering pictures of students, civilians, soldiers, Dmitry Medvedev, Vladimir Putin, orphans, nuns and Michelle Obama seamlessly overlaying the president’s address to young people in Moscow.

Listen to Barack pitch fanciful ideas such as “we share a common interest”, “progress must be shared”, and “look to the future that can be built if we refuse to be burdened by the old obstacles and the old suspicions.”
And, don’t miss the part where the prez, in full suck up mode intones, “Russia has cut its way through time like a mighty river….leaving an indelible mark on history as it goes.”
Now try to conceive of President Donald Trump creating a video that mirrors word for word, image for image, this slick production. Headlines would proclaim COLLUSION! Cable crazies would scream TREASON!
Yet in a spirited conversation today, two friends could be heard discussing the Trump, Russia business with one fellow adamant in the conspiracy aspect and the other awaiting evidence.
When the latter asked the former if he could point to 1 single thing Mr. Trump had done that benefitted the Kremlin in any way, there was no reply.
Tragic recent history has shown the same cannot be said about Barack Obama’s decisions as they related to the former Soviet Union.
So what was it that led to Putin greatly expanding his country’s sphere of influence? Perhaps it was the ill fated quixotic “Russian Reset”.
Or maybe the ill advised “Tell Vladimir I’ll have more flexibility after the election.” Perhaps it was handing Syria off to Putin after Commander in Chief Obama skulked away from his now infamous “line in the sand”.
Or it could be as simple as the vaunted Russian intelligence, now infamous for “hacking our election”, looking no farther than this tape, and knowing they had a narcissistic patsy that could be easily manipulated to their advantage.
No unmasking necessary here, and no Trump to blame….unless of course it was really Donald in this video, with Putin’s knowledge, posing as Obama.
Crazy say you? But how much less ridiculous is that scenario, than some of the crap that’s been spread by today’s seething, vindictive, faux “journalists”?
This article is an important reminder of just how malleable even RECENT history has become in the hands of the completely dishonest HACKS in the Fake News ENE-Media.
Lets not forget that during the 2012 presidential campaign, Comrade Barry hectored Mitt Romney for his comment that Russia was a dangerous geopolitical foe saying:
“Governor Romney, I’m glad that you recognize that al-Qaeda is a threat, because a few months ago when you were asked what’s the biggest geopolitical threat facing America, you said Russia, not al-Qaeda,” Obama said.
As usual, Comrade Barry was employing one of those “Revolutionary Truths” (AKA, a LIE) that Marxists are so fond of, by conflating the words “threat” and “foe.” During the debate, Romney called Obama on this error, emphasizing he was talking about Russia at the United Nations.
Romney stated:
“Russia, I indicated, is a geopolitical foe. Not … Excuse me. It’s a geopolitical foe, and in the same paragraph I said, ‘and Iran is the greatest national security threat we face.’ Russia does continue to battle us in the U.N. time and time again.”
But Comrade Barry knew he was on a roll and that his subservient lackeys in the ENE-Media were drooling for a juicy sound bite that they could hammer into an anti-Romney attack meme, which he dutifully offered up saying:
“The 1980s are now calling to ask for their foreign policy back because the Cold War’s been over for 20 years… When it comes to our foreign policy, you seem to want to import the foreign policies of the 1980s, just like the social policies of the 1950s, and the economic policies of the 1920s.”
Yessir, we can ALWAYS count on the Left and ENE-Media to throw ALL the embarrassing and uncomfortable FACTS about their Reign of Error down the Memory Hole… while the hapless, invertebrate Republican RINOs scratch their heads and wonder why their enemies on the Left and in the ENE-Media WALK ALL OVER THEM.
