Former Rep. Gowdy expects no prosecutions in Flynn Affair [Feds can frame you?]

Former Republican Congressman Trey Gowdy told Martha MacCallum he expected no prosecutions to emerge from the bombshells in the Michael Flynn affair. We covered the Flynn case here,  here, here, and here. We believe he was framed.

Gowdy didn’t even hesitate when asked about it.

“No ma’am,” he stated emphatically when Fox News host Martha MacCallum asked him about the prospect of potential prosecutions. “I was talking to a federal prosecutor on the way over here. But we have got to not only associate accountability with prosecutions,” he said in frustration.  “I think being a terrible FBI agent and treating people unfairly, maybe it ought to be a crime, but I don’t think it is a crime.”

Would it surprise anyone if nothing happens? It’s apparently okay to frame a top official in an administration you hate. There is also the fact that Comey and Strzok perjured themselves.

On the other hand, Gowdy is a waste of time. This was a coup and Michael Flynn was framed. That is not legal.

Gowdy did call for accountability.

“The takeaway is the next time the FBI says, ‘Hey, we’d like to talk,’ tell them no,” Gowdy said. “Say, ‘When you clean up your act, when you quit trying to get people fired and see what you can get away with, we’ll start treating you like a dispassionate law-enforcement agency. But until then, no thanks, we’re done talking with you.’”

If you are ever asked to speak to the FBI or even the police at this point, lawyer up, unless you’re a Democrat, then you’re fine.

If anyone knows anything about talking a lot and doing nothing it is Trey Gowdy.

If we expected anything more than, “Time to move on” then we were deceived. The ‘perps’ are well aware that they have nothing to fear. Everyone knows Obama was directly involved on the coup to take down Trump. Does anyone think he’s going down for anything??? The sad part is, they ain’t going anywhere. Regardless if Trump and Flynn slip out of their hands, they simply won’t let up. They are like Komoto dragons after biting a Cape buffalo … they just wait for the poison to work, weaken it until they can move in.
Yeah, it sucks knowing they are going to get away with their treason. It’s our own fault. We allowed the corruption of the education system, etc. We’ve “crossed the Rubicon” in this country. All we can do is fight against the flood, try to slow it down. Maybe we can keep the corruption from getting too much of a hold of our medical and health-care system. Wouldn’t that be a bummer if corrupt people got control of that ….

I have followed Gowdy’s remarks in this set of scandals since March 2017 when the spying on the Trump campaign was first exposed. (And of course, it was not exposed by Congress.) Gowdy’s behavior indicates support for the coverups, opposition to Trump, and opposition to legal action, consistently. Pay no attention to he fake outrage act or anything else. Gowdy now plays a hero on TV for lots of money. His role is to pretend to support justice while not supporting action.

Whenever a federal POS shows up and asks for your “help,” remember the five magic words, “I have nothing to say.” Repeat this phrase a 100 times so you never forget it and it’s on the tip of your tongue.
