Freedom from Religion Foundation Continues to Wage War on Religion

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

I’ve written about FFRF [Freedom from Religion Foundation] before. Their organization is doing their best to remove all vestiges of religion in every remote, prominent and in-between region of our country under the guise of it being a constitutional violation.

They go far beyond separation of church and state by attempting, and often succeeding, in eliminating all signs of religion. It doesn’t matter if the religious symbol can only be seen in a distance, if it no longer has religious meaning, if it has historical significance, or if it offends only one person.

The FFRF secularists are currently fighting to remove a Montana Jesus War Memorial which happens to be near a ski resort.

FFRF found a local living in the area who said the statue offended him so their case could proceed. They come into towns, cities, states where they don’t live to do their work.

Make no mistake. This is not about separation of church and state, this is a war against all religion and the secularists are winning. Many cannot fight this siege because they can’t afford to. FFRF has endless funds to go to court again and again.

FFRF has decided you will not believe in religion and it will hold no place in our history.

There is nothing wrong with their being Atheists. What is wrong is their desire to eradicate religion from the face of America.

FFRF is even indoctrinating the young. They have free student scholarship essays as one example. Check out their website if you like. I won’t link to them.

The Knights of Columbus are fighting this particular case, but similar cases are propping up all over the country. With their comrades in the ACLU, they are rewriting our history.

The war memorial has been there for 57 years and it is a piece of history. Our country was founded on Christian principles and FFRF finds that very offensive so they will proceed to erase all vestiges of it. The trial is in March.
