Esteban Santiago aka Aashiq Hammad killed five innocent people and wounded six others in a Ft. Lauderdale airport. The media, with their usual penchant for reporting narratives as opposed to facts, zeroed in on PTSD as the cause. As it turns out Santiago claims he communicated with other would-be jihadists in chat rooms, jihadists who were planning to carry out attacks.
CNN reports that Santiago was working on behalf of ISIS or was inspired by the terrorist organization.
FBI special agent Michael Ferlazzo testified at Santiago’s bond hearing Tuesday that Santiago claimed to be fighting for ISIS.
