Gloria Steinem Says Climate Change Was Caused by Not Having Abortions

Gloria Steinem says women having babies they don’t want caused climate change — it’s the “fundamental cause”, the blaze reported.

“Listen, what causes climate deprivation is population,” she said. “If we had not been systematically forcing women to have children they don’t want or can’t care for over the 500 years of patriarchy, we wouldn’t have the climate problems that we have. That’s the fundamental cause of climate change. Even if the Vatican doesn’t tell us that. In addition to that, because women are the major agricultural workers in the world, and also the carriers of water and the feeders of families and so on, it’s a disproportionate burden.”

She made her comments in an interview with Refinery 29.

She’s not alone. Last August, NPR published an article reporting on environmentalists espousing the same views. These people are eugenicists.

Steinem doesn’t see anyone as a feminist unless they support abortion and the goes for Ivanka Trump.

“I have not seen her standing up and saying women should have a right to control their own bodies and decide when and whether to have children, no,” Steinem said.

She said the policy she espouses is that of Hitler’s and other authoritarian regimes.

“I saw her being interviewed by Cosmopolitan, and she was asked about her maternity leave policy, but it’s only if you physically give birth. It’s not for adoptive parents, not for fathers. That happens to be the same policy as every authoritarian regime on Earth that I know of, including Hitler’s Germany,” Steinem said. “I’m not saying that she knows this, but were paying women to have children. By accident, perhaps, that’s her policy. So it’s perfectly natural for the to say ‘What about fathers, what about adoptive parents?’ And when she asked that question, Ivanka stopped the interview.”
