The North Korean propaganda machine put out a commentary accusing the communist giant of “dancing to the tune” of Donald Trump.
It claimed China’s remarks are “absurd and reckless”. “The DPRK will never beg for the maintenance of friendship with China,” the article stated.
“China had better ponder over the grave consequences to be entailed by its reckless act of chopping down the pillar of the DPRK-China relations,” it concluded.
The Chinese tabloid, The Global Times, stated that North Korea’s comments were a “hyper-aggressive move” motivated by “nationalist passion”.
China has taken a tough stance on North Korea’s nuclear development, promising to bomb their nuclear facilities, should they launch another missile.

The Chinese tabloid wrote: “China has a bottom line it will protect at all costs, that is the security and stability of northeast China.”
China recently warned the hermit kingdom to stop hostilities with the U.S. or face more sanctions. Last month, China turned back North Korean coal shipments as a warning. They also told Un to dismantle the nuclear program.
The U.S. and China have joined together to demand a stronger response from the U.N. against North Korea’s nuclear threats.
