Great example of socialized medicine where 60-year-olds don’t get ventilators

“Our shutting off travel from China and, more recently, travel from Europe, has gone a long way to not seeding very, very intensively the virus in our country. Unfortunately, Italy did not do that…they let people in.”

~ Anthony S. Fauci

An Israeli doctor in Italy said that he and other physicians have been directed to avoid giving over-60 patients ventilator treatment in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The Jerusalem Post, Dr. Gai Peleg, said that instructions in Parma, Italy, do not allow such treatments to patients over 60.

Another single-payer success story. Italy’s socialized medicine does not work.

Italy has seen at least 59,138 COVID-19 cases, and over 5,476 people in Italy have died as a result.

“Peleg said that, from what he sees and hears in the hospital, the instructions are not to offer access to artificial respiratory machines to patients over 60 as such machines are limited in number.”

The good news is the numbers are starting to go in the right direction. Russia and China are delivering goods to Italy, but not the EU. The EU shut down their borders and haven’t been much help.

This is hard to watch as medical professionals race around trying to save lives:

WHO=UN/China lapdog. In other words an enemy of America.

The WHO rating system carries some blame here. They rate Italy as a top 10 country for health care, basically because it’s single payer, one size fits all care model… The USA is rated 37th…

Meanwhile, the reality is ventilators are high priority for patients with severe COVID19 infections… Ventilators are required to meet the ICU standard. Italy (with the typical bare bones single payer system) has 10% of the ICUs per population segment than US. Hopitals in the US compete with each other for ability to provide care… Meanwhile, the few ICUs in single payer Italy had were quickly over-run… And people started to die…

Opps… So much for the feel good WHO single payer health care rating system…

This has been the Democrats dream formula, which would kill off thousands of elderly people if not millions.

Remember people laughing at Sarah Palin over the rationing of healthcare regarding the elderly?
Or those ghastly CPUSA ads showing Willard Romney pushing grammaw over a cliff.

“A government big enough to give you everything you want is a government big enough to take from you everything that you have.”

Yes, Sarah Palin was laughed at a lot. Unfortunately, the DNC media, which existed then, told everyone what to think about her, and like sheep, they obeyed. She would’ve made a better president than obama. If you compare Palin’s politics to Pres. Trump’s, they are identical — God, country, family, military, small gov’t, low taxes. Palin is a national treasure that was unfairly trashed.

What about Israel they are also supplying equipment. For Russia to supply equipment to Italy, have they forgotten their own people beyond the Urals who are in desperate need of medical assistance.
