Hard-Left Wins the Party! Democrats Say There’s No Room for Pro-lifers

Tom Perez is the new Chair of the Democratic National Committee and his deputy Keith Ellison is a radical Marxist as is Perez. Together they will guarantee the party’s continued movement to the hard-left.

The Democrat Party has become the party of coastal elites, radicalized and idealistic college kids, minorities, felons, fascists, communists, socialists, misfits, and anyone who buys into identity politics. A recent ABC poll showed that two-thirds of the Democrat Party is out of touch with voters, but that hasn’t affected their leftist platform and their support for violent fascists silencing those with whom they disagree.

They are unquestionably the party of abortion – only. The organizers of the recent Women’s March in D.C. wouldn’t allow Pro-Life Democrats to march with them.

Democrats want abortion to be allowed the moment of birth in an age of sonograms that prove fetuses don’t suddenly become babies when they are born. Many Democrats are pro-life, but the new DNC chair agrees there is no place for them in the party. “It’s not negotiable”, Perez said recently.

The argument that abortion is about a woman’s health is rarely true, but it is the one Perez uses.

“Every Democrat, like every American, should support a woman’s right to make her own choices about her body and her health,” Perez said. “That is not negotiable and should not change city by city or state by state.”

Half of the Catholics in the United States vote for Democrats and they make up a third of the population. It puts them in a difficult position.

New York Cardinal Timothy M. Dolan described the recent pledge from Perez to support only pro-abortion candidates “disturbing” and “intolerant.”

The cardinal, who is chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Committee on Pro-Life Activities, urged members of the Democratic party to “challenge” the party leadership on the issue.

It shouldn’t be a surprise for the Cardinal. Democrats have already voted God out of their platform though a wise host pretended they had the votes to keep God in. That was in 2012.

Perez made his hard-left views on abortion clear after the hard-left wing of the party reacted badly to the DNC helping another Democrat, Omaha mayoral candidate Heath Mello, who is a Catholic with an occasional penchant for voting pro-life.

Bernie Sanders supports him over the Republican. The radical left were even annoyed with him.

Twenty years ago, there was a place for the pro-life Democrats.

There is no longer room in the party for gun rights, closed borders, the Constitution unless it’s “living”, and there is no place for sovereignty.

A “coalition of progressive groups” staffed by former Bernie Sanders campaign activists are organizing to to push the party further left than it already is.

Similarly, Center for American Progress executive Steve Phillips, writing in “Move Left, Democrats” in The New York Times, argues that Americans are really much more left-leaning than people think.

A recent Gallup Poll gave progressive Democrats a massive shot in the arm by showing that 25% of Americans now identify as liberal, up from 21% just a year ago.

Okay, but 36% of Americans still call themselves conservative. And 34% call themselves moderate. With the Democrats moving ever-farther leftward, it will be harder and harder for them to claim the 70% of Americans that no longer will identify with the Dems’ extreme beliefs — something we already saw in the 2016 election.

From heavy taxes and regulations to unfettered spending, to government-controlled healthcare to oppressive regulations, it’s impossible to distinguish the Democratic Party from any Marxist organization and worse.

If they keep moving to the far left, Democrats will give Republicans an enormous opportunity though it’s not clear they will take advantage it. For those of us who believe in the two-party system, it’s tragic. Democrats are pulling Republicans to the left as well.

America is losing its foundation.
