Hillary Clinton wants those “deep-seated religious beliefs” and “cultural codes” of Americans to take a back seat to the State when it comes to abortion and who knows what else. She believes the State has the right to decide our religious beliefs.
She would, as president, deny Americans their First Amendment religious rights and their rights of conscience. Her support of the Religious Freedom Act has long since dissipated.
Hillary Clinton attended the sixth annual Women in the World Summit on Thursday.
She told them that “deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed” for the sake of giving women access to “reproductive health care and safe childbirth.
“Far too many women are denied access to reproductive health care and safe childbirth, and laws don’t count for much if they’re not enforced. Rights have to exist in practice — not just on paper,” Clinton said.
“Laws have to be backed up with resources and political will,” she explained. “And deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed. As I have said and as I believe, the advancement of the full participation of women and girls in every aspect of their societies is the great unfinished business of the 21st century and not just for women but for everyone — and not just in far away countries but right here in the United States.”
“There are those who offer themselves as leaders who would deport mothers working to give their children a better life, rather than risk the ire of talk radio.”
This is a false crisis in women’s health.
Clinton has drastically changed her views on abortion over the years. She’s “evolved” into actively promoting late-term and partial-birth abortions if the mother’s health is at risk. Partial-birth abortion is brutal. Breaking a baby’s neck and then tearing the baby’s body out of the mother’s womb piece by piece is barbaric.
Hillary Clinton’s definition of when these procedures can be performed is vague and ill-defined.
It’s only the starting point. They will move much further.
In April 2007, Clinton expressed dismay at the Supreme Court’s Gonzales v. Carhart ruling that upheld the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act.
She’s opposed to the Hobby Lobby decision which gave some owners of private companies religious rights.
Her last defining statement on abortion is this:
“This decision, which is one of the most fundamental, difficult, and soul-searching decisions a woman and a family can make, is also one in which the government should have no role…”
If the government has no role, it’s anything goes.
The issue, however, is not whether she will allow abortion-on-demand, she’s not known for her high moral standards and will go with the prevailing popular opinion of her party on the issue. The real issue is that she is willing to deprive people of the right to conscience in favor of State supremacy.
What will they make us do after abortion? Euthanasia? Right now they are rationalizing the killing of defenseless, fully-developed babies, it’s not much of a stretch to kill people who cost too much to take care of.
She’s just another totalitarian tyrant.
