Chris Crane, ICE union president, speaks about their lawsuit on Huckabee in this video
Our immigration system is broken and we might soon pass a very bad immigration law that will make it worse. The new measure will put the open borders policy of this administration into law, though the gang of eight will try and tell you otherwise. I have the actual law linked here and you can read it for yourself.
We know that we have illegals and legals who come here without proper screening or monitoring. A perfect case in point on the ineffectiveness of our legal immigration system can be found in the case of the Boston terrorists, Dzhorkhar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
The Tsarnaevs came here with their parents on visas and were granted asylum. They were allowed to remain despite the fact that the Russian government warned us Tamerlan might have been radicalized. They traveled back-and-forth to Russia so it is hard for one to understand why they needed asylum.
We have drug dealers and terrorists coming over the Southern border “from time-to-time” as Janet Napolitano has admitted.
About 30% who come here illegally overstay visas or jump ships and the like. About 70% come over the Southern border. Another 57% coming over the border are Mexican. Because of these stats, the Democrats and this administration are able to use nationality and faux racism claims to prevent people from speaking out against illegal immigration.
Janet Napolitano, vacuous head of the Department of Homeland Security, is now worried about the morale of ICE agents. I have solved her problem for her if she would just give me a call. Their morale is low because they can’t do their job, even when they know the illegals are criminals.
We currently have open borders. Our President and the Attorney General of the United States, Eric Holder, swore to uphold the laws of the land when they assumed office. However, they pick and choose which laws they will uphold and which laws they will break. At the current time, they have chosen to break the immigration law.
The ICE union is suing the government, at their own expense, to secure some type of protection for their officers. They need protection from the government because they are not allowed to do their jobs, and if they try, they could be fired.
ICE agents can no longer pick up, detain, or arrest illegals. Other law enforcement agencies have to pick them up, not for being illegal, but for breaking the law.
If you go to the job description for agents on the ICE website, it says this:
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the largest investigative agency in the Department of Homeland Security, is responsible for enforcing the nation’s immigration and customs laws. ICE has more than 20,000 employees working in 400 offices in the U.S. and around the world.
ICE is responsible for inner law enforcement for the states, Puerto Rico, and Guam but they are not allowed to enforce the law. Also problematic is the fact that they only have 5,000 agents while the police nationwide number about 10,000. The other 15,000 claimed by the government might be administrators and clerks, they are not in the field.
Barack Obama has his own version of the DREAM Act which forbids ICE agents from enforcing the law if an illegal says he went to school. ICE is no longer allowed to arrest or detain illegals unless they have three CONVICTIONS.
ICE is now required to go into jails to interview inmates but all they have to say is they went to school and they get to stay – ON THEIR WORD!
When ICE agents try to enforce the law, their job is threatened.
This is not a small matter, our administration is not upholding the laws of the nation and they are allowing criminals and terrorists to come here. These people make up the democratic support base.
Last week, the Taliban bragged that they had terror cells in the United States ready to attack at any time. I’m sure they do and they probably collect welfare. In one of the uncovered terror training manuals, would-be terrorists are told to drain our welfare system to help in its collapse.
