Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, a fierce Trump hating Brit, has been feuding with Piers Morgan on Twitter, mostly about Trump. The latest battle is over a deceitfully edited tape. Trump appeared to ignore a disabled boy when he made a speech on healthcare Monday and she ran with it.
As it happens, the video was first tweeted by an aide to Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D., Wash.) on Friday. Ansel Herz, the deputy communications director for Jayapal, tweeted out a video which appeared to show the president ignoring a youngster in a wheelchair. The video was edited to leave out the President going over to the little disabled child first.
The fake video has since been removed and was likely edited by the aide himself or someone in his office since no one else has it. It’s particularly egregious since it went viral.
Rowling was quick to tweet: How stunning, and how horrible, that Trump cannot bring himself to shake the hand of a small boy who only wanted to touch the President. /4x.

However, the sanctimonious writer hasn’t bothered to take back her comments or apologize though the video was a fake, the scenario was a lie.
A couple of her tweets:
So, yes, that clip of Trump looking deliberately over a disabled child’s head, ignoring his outstretched hand, has touched me on the raw. /2

My mother used a wheelchair. I witnessed people uncomfortable around her disability, but if they had a shred of decency they got over it. 1/

Trump clearly went to the handicapped child first. The full video was sent to Rowling but she has not corrected her misstatement.
So @jk_rowling is on a tirade about how Trump ignored a kid in a wheelchair, but she conveniently left out the clip from the beginning: pic.twitter.com/v3tBXI8WY9

Piers Morgan also responded with tweets, including one of a story from theblaze correcting the lie.
Nearly 24hrs since @jk_rowling tweeted 8 #FakeNews posts to falsely smear @realDonaldTrump.

There are plenty of legitimate reasons to criticise Trump.
Abusing him for snubbing a disabled boy when he didn’t is disgraceful. https://t.co/vEoeGER50x— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) July 29, 2017
