Kremlin Spokesperson Makes a ‘Humiliating’ Admission?

In a weak moment, the Kremlin spokesperson, a close ally of Russian President Putin, Dimitriy Peskov admitted that they have “suffered significant losses” in Ukraine. “It’s a huge tragedy for us.”

As reported in numerous media, it seems Russia might not have been prepared for the resistance they’d meet. Some estimates of Russian casualties ranged between 7,000 and 15,000.

Mark Austin of Sky News pressed Peskov.

“You’ve lost thousands of troops. How many troops have you lost?” Austin demanded.

In a rare moment of candor and regret, Peskov admitted, “We have, we have significant losses of troops. And it’s, it’s, it’s a huge tragedy for us.”

Austin said, “You’ve retreated from the capital, [Ukraine] President [Volodymyr] Zelenskyy is still in power, you’ve lost thousands of troops, you’ve lost six generals, hundreds of tanks and other equipment,” he said. “It’s a humiliation, really, isn’t it?”

Peskov said, “No. No. That is a wrong understanding of what is going on.”

Peskov continued, “Now about two regions, Kyiv and Chernikov regions, so actually, the troops were really withdrawn from that region as an act of goodwill during the negotiations between delegations.”

As the press secretary tried to support this statement, Austin interrupted to say, “But it’s just not true, is it?”

“If it was a measure of goodwill, why then did you continue to bombard Mariupol in the way that you have to devastate that city. If you really wanted to facilitate peace talks, you would have had a ceasefire. … So it’s not really true, is it?” he asked.

That led to a disagreement.

When asked about Bucha, Peskov claimed the genocide was staged.

He didn’t really admit to anything except regret over the loss of life, although the media seems to think he did. [This comment was added after publication]

Interesting development from the Azovstal Steel Plant. Reports are saying intercepted radio communications include Russian and Ukrainian, but also six other European languages.

The Russians are blamed for the rocket attack in Kramatorsk. The pictures of that missile on the ground is the exact same type that hit Donetsk civilian areas some time back. It is called a Tochka-U missile that Ukrainian forces used previously so it can be concluded Ukraine hit the railroad station also. The Russians use the Iskander missile and numerous videos show those being used. A journalist on site reported the aftermath of that Tochka-U attack.

For someone who cares about their military the loss of over 1300 is significant in that amount of time. Zelensky evidently doesn’t give a damn about his own people.

A multi-streamer has Fox Now on and they are “claiming” Russia has lost 20% of it’s military. Really? Then why are Ukrainian military surrendering, some in the hundreds. Also, if Ukraine is devastating the Russian military so effectively then why is Zelensky so frantic in asking for more weapons. At least one video showed a javelin strike a tank and the tank just kept on going. I’m not so certain NATO weapons are as great as advertised.

The Pentagon has maintained that Russia failed in Kiev, as if their small numbers were actually planning on taking such a large metropolitan city. What it did do was tie up significant numbers of Ukraine military that couldn’t support their troops in the East. It also tied up supply routes. Russia has taken out the only two refineries in Ukraine. That would leave them without fuel reserves for their mobile equipment.

When it comes to Mariupol, Russia isn’t going to leave there until the entire Azov battalion is destroyed, since that is their main base. The remnants are isolated in the Azovstal Steel Works. As I understand, that site has eight floors underground which will make it quite difficult.

I see no serious admissions from the Russian. Sorrow for the lost is virtuous.

Ukraine gives no admissions, claims it is pure and virtuous. It really is a corrupt NWO dictatorship which has outlawed other parties, opposing media, violated agreements, set up a USA laundering operation and persecuted Russians.

Faux News is junk. Newsmax is bad too. They give propaganda like Tokyo Rose.

I am happy that Russia did not try to take Kiev. You have pointed out some things about strategy I was unaware of.

If our USA starts behaving like an adult in world affairs and also stops deliberately ruining our nation then I will begin to take its role seriously again. Until then such emphasis on the Ukraine conflict (caused by the USA) is inappropriate and also self destructive.
