Merrick Garland, Obama’s Supreme Court nominee, is a left-wing judge who supports eliminating photo ID, extreme environmentalism and has a penchant for gun control. Despite that, Republicans and Democrats alike want him to have a hearing and many want him in the job.
A new Gallup poll claims 53% say the Senate should vote on Garland.
A vote would give ammunition to the left.
More than 7 in 10 think the Republicans are refusing to hold the hearing out of sheer politics according to a CBS/NY Times poll if you believe the leftist pollsters, and another 68% say it’s very important to them.
About 75% of Democrats want a vote on Garland and two-thirds of Republicans said they want a vote. Why would Republicans want a vote? The man is another leftist who will alter the makeup of the court for generations.
“I can’t imagine that a Republican-majority Congress, in a lame-duck session, after the American people have spoken would want to confirm a nominee opposed by the NRA [National Rifle Association], the NFIB [National Federation of Independent Business] and that the New York Times says would move the court dramatically to the left,” Senate Majority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., has said.
Are these pollsters manipulating us and using polls to influence opinion rather than to measure it?
There were only three questions, one was asked only of people who want to wait. Look at how question one was worded.
You might be interested to know that interviews were also conducted in Spanish. Then there is this – most don’t know anything about Merrick Garland and we can thank the media for that.
Harry Reid thanked the progressive media for putting pressure on Republicans to hold the hearing. He also said the Biden Rule was “made up” though we have Biden on tape.
Joe Biden himself said to not hold hearings it in the lame duck president’s final year though he’s now saying he only meant in “extreme cases”. That would apply anyway just the same – Garland is an extremist.
