Georgia Rep. Earnest Smith wants to make lewd photoshopping a criminal offense punishable by a $1,000 fine after a blogger photoshopped his head onto the body of a male porn star.

Rep. Smith’s knowledge of the First Amendment is less than profound. He told Fox News,“Everyone has a right to privacy. No one has a right to make fun of anyone. It’s not a First Amendment right.”

The picture might have been rude but putting a bill in to make it a crime is just a little too much government overreach unless you are living in Iran.

A blogger named Andre Walker said he is behind the photoshopped picture and he can’t understand why the representative thinks he is being insulted by having “his head on on the body of a well-built porn star.”

Unfortunately for Rep. Smith, the photo is now going to go viral.
